Your daughter sort of sounds like me. When people ask me if I know so and so at my university I go "we have 26,000 undergrads" and that's my answer :p

While it has been 10 years since sceniczip rushed, I have to agree with her. I know about 750-800 rushed.

DD just got back from pref round. She is very happy and encouraged tonight. She did get invited back to all three of the houses she was hoping for. She said the decorations were gorgeous and elegant, the refreshments beautifully presented. The personal letters from the girls she talked with all week really made an impression on her as well.

I think she will be happy with whatever comes tomorrow.
Again, I feel so thankful that this has been such a positive experience for her.

When I rushed 17 yrs ago there were about 600 PNMs (or in my time known as rushees)

Just heard that Kappa Delta got the second biggest pledge class out of all 12 sororities!

That's wonderful. I've been waiting to hear all afternoon. This is the first time in several years I've not known a girl who attended KD pref. Any details?

They are in the convocation right now. Halfway through handing out the bids.

My daugher is extremely excited about their new pledge class and one girl especially who she preffed did pledge. Lots of excitement right now!

I always loved bid day. I wish they were having it a little later tomorrow at UNT. We always had it late in the afternoon. They hand out bids at 11, and I have a retirement party to attend for somebody from my chapter.
