Seesaw: PNM absolutely loves this house. She felt totally at home here and honestly felt that she could see herself as a member of the chapter. She could also look around the room and see herself in a pledge class with some of the other girls she had met during recruitment who were also preffing here.

Ruthless: PNM liked it here, but she still wasn't completely sure about how she felt about this house. She also didn't feel like she would fit in with some of the other girls who were preffing here.

Considering PNM went into recruitment unsure about pledging in general, she knew she had a difficult choice to make. However, she felt it was important not to put a house on her bid card unless she was absolutely sure that the house was worth her (parents') money.

And, so, her pref card simply read:

NOW, I MUST SAY: This is where I feel PNM made a major misstep and I do not advise any PNMs reading this story to make the same choice. PNM liked Ruthless just fine, so there was no reason not to rank them. If you have multiple houses left that you like, why not maximize your options and rank them all? It's not as though they were going to give her a bill on day one. But it was PNM's choice, not my choice. She wanted to suicide Seesaw and she genuinely believed that she would be more content without Greek life than with a chapter she was not 100% into.

Ahhh! Suiciding stories on here never seem to turn out well :( but for her sake, I hope it did!

Well, PNM didn't receive the dreaded mismatch call, so she knew that when she went to get her bid she would be a new member of Seesaw!

And so, on Monday our UGA PNM received a bid for Seesaw, otherwise known as....

Thank you so much for this story! And thank you for respecting the intellect of all the readers and the houses enough to list who the houses were/are. When I wrote the Reluctant One's story I didn't list the chapters, I generalized. You wrote a story that is intelligent/balanced and you stood behind what you wrote.

I like that.

I'm glad that she enjoyed her time at AOII, but even happier she found her home in Delta Gamma! Congrats!:D

It's fun to re-read this story again a year later! :)
