SPSU Bid Day!!!!!
Hi Sisters!
I just got home from SPSU Bid Day....and this year, we were blessed with a SPSU recruitment story that ended with AXiD! New things about SPSU: Total on campus has been set at 30, and we're planning on doing some kind of informal/partial structure recruitment in the Spring. Panhellenic wants to PR like crazy for the new campus owned houses that are opening on campus next Fall, so hopefully this will create enough buzz for recruitment this spring. Quota was 10. AXiD has 8 fabulous new sisters, and membership of 25, the largest the chapter has ever been. I remember going into Fall 2004 with 5 members prior to Bid Day. Wow! They are stoked about COB, and already have a ton of ideas, and additional PNMs in mind. So SO excited for them! This is going to be a great semester! I have never been more proud of them....they were Ama-XI-ng at recruitment this week! So, without further ado, PICTURES! Dartmouth's recruitment is from October 8th-12th and Bid Day is the 13th.
It's Theta Psi's first recruitment with their brand new house! We're hoping for great numbers! |
Quota at Illinois was 47 and Kappa took 49! This was our first recruitment so I am BEYOND proud of my sisters! I haven't met any of the girls, but hopefully I'm well enough to meet them at pledging tonight!

OMG...the Kappa Bid Day tshirt is sooo frickin' CUTE!!!!!! The girls in our pictures are mostly wearing their pan. Tshirt (the pink one) They got a really cute bright blue one and two jerseys in their amaXIng new bid day bags.
I dont have a good picture of the shirts and Jerseys but this is the bag and the little bear is their bid (it was holding a rolled up piece of paper) The bag is really awesome. I am pleased to announce that Epsilon Iota at Newberry College took Quota +1 for a total of 16 new members!!!!
They got the exact girls they wanted. :D |
Theta Zeta Chapter at ERAU - Prescott has 12 new members. I'm so proud of them. They've worked very hard and have almost doubled their chapter and are at total.

I heard Sigma (University of Iowa) has COB'd 8 more girls, so if I have my numbers right, they now have 15 new members.
Any new information would be appreciated! |
Today was bid day at University of Washington. Quota was 30 and I am more than ecstatic to announce that Nu chapter has 37 women plus 1 COB for a total of 38! They are now 1 away from campus total of 100, which I don't think they will be for long as (unfortunately) there were several wonderful women who withdrew from the process. I am just so proud of and excited for them!
