I admit I'll be watching. I never watched the Atlanta wives b/c they irritated the hell out of me but I'm curious about these women.

Did anyone watch the premiere episode? I saw a rerun of it this afternoon, and I do not like Danielle already

BetteDavisEyes 05-17-2009 08:18 PM

I actually liked Danielle b/c she wasn't the standard mold like the other wives. I couldn't stand the two sisters. To me, they seemed like they believed they were all that amongst New Jersey wives.

Same. She seems legitimately unsound.

BabyPiNK_FL 05-17-2009 09:17 PM

Danielle? I can't stand her. She is an embarassment risk for her children with all the risque things she is putting out there on tv.

She complains about having no money. She talks about her body all the time (her children are a little chubby so I'm wondering if this effects them at all). I wonder if she's going to end up in court in a custody battle any day now because she's letting an AWFUL lot hang out there with regards to money and lifestyle.

I also hate how clingy she is with her friend. You were not invited, you can't go!

Danielle needs some serious help!

Well hellooooooooo Albie. ;)

Did I search for him on Facebook? Do we have a mutual friend? Does the mutual friend's sister happen to be in my chapter?

I think that's the sound of my car driving over to Franklin Lakes. :p

No shame.

I J U S T watched my first episode. I'm assuming it was a rerun, since I read on here it came on the 12th. Im not sure of the names so bare with me. Jacqueline, the young mom with the 17 year old and the young boy. I like her. She seems to not be so full of drama. The blonde haired girl.. I think is Dina?? Her lips are horrrible. They too poofy. Caroline..yeahh shes a mob queen, and I don't like her accent. Danielle, she seems tooo wild, and reallly desperate. The show does seem good, and I do agree with the other post with being as much drama as the Atlanta group. Sorry to just barge in, but I had to post.

I don't know how I feel about Danielle yet, she is a little too much---especially about the whole online dating stuff. She met him on wealthymen.com or something like that, any random Joe Shmoe can sign up for it. I've never had phone sex, but seriously, how good can it be? You don't even see the person, you're just on the phone with him!

I like Jacqueline and her family. Teresa is a little too much as well, especially with her bratty daughters!!! ugh.

The ones I DON'T like are the daughters--Ashley and Lexie. The whole "if I had an ugly, fat mom, i'd hate it" and "I like my mom is young, she's like the mom from Mean Girls." I hope I don't have to see them very often.

I definitely didn't like the daughters either, talk about obnoxious. Hopefully they'll try to keep them more off-screen since they're younger.

Um you didn't like her accent? She's a dago from Jersey. How the hell did you expect her to talk?

I love Caroline and her family. I think Dina is my favorite because she seems so laidback yet seems like a bitch. The sister in law (Jacqueline?) is my favorite.

Danielle has issues. Big ones. And they're called Eyebrow 1 and Eyebrow 2. Shit lay off the botox.

You've got to be kidding me.

And I'm a dago from Detroit. I have dago family in Brooklyn & Staten Island. Actually I have family who acts just like Caroline's family and they're not mafia. If you're going to be mad about an Italian comment, be mad about the mafia stereotype. (which I find hilarious)

The term dago when used by Italians usually means "overly" Italian.

Are your shoes Italian? Cuz wherever they go, dago. Ha.

I'm hardly mad about it. I just have never heard the term used so flippantly and was under the impression it was a slur. I'm not Italian and just never knew it was an appropriate thing to say.
