Philanthropy chair, ending in January when I become secretary. It really feels good to hold some sort of postition because that way you know youare really doing something worthwhile to make a difference (at least i did when i was raising money for CMN)

--Academic chair took the least amount of time...for everything else, I should have received a salary with over-time and year-end bonus.

The past year (since I pledged in Jan 2002) I was the assistant secretary which holds the responsibility of corresponding secretary. I was just elected Recording Secretary of my house which means I am in charge of initiation, our archives, recording meeting minutes and attendance issues. I was also a member of the bylaws revision comittee and the head of the Rush/Fraternity Orientation Interest Group.

Alumni chair
Secretary
President
IFC chair (as fill-in during two semesters)

President and secretary both took up a lot of time, but in different ways. Secretary did because of doing all of the chapter paperwork, taking care of attendance/voting eligibility figures, and stuff like that. For president, it's a lot more keeping tabs on what committee chairs/other executive committee members were doing, and just thinking 24/7 about new ways of running the chapter.

VP Social
SGA representative (that one really sucked)
Historian (twice)

I wouldn't touch a treasurer or secretary position with a 10 ft. pole, despite SEVERAL offers. No organizational skills.

Undergraduate - Assistant Recruitment Chair, Recruitment Chair and CRIC (Collegiate Recruitment Information Chair)
Graduate - Chapter Recruitment Advisor - five years

Recruitment is an extremely important and huge job! It takes a lot of hard work and planning, with not enough appreciation! I think it is a difficult job that takes a dedicated individual to pull off right!
