Miss Tennessee is a Chi Omega from Union University.

Isn't the pageant over yet or is this now a complete reality show?

There is a reality show competition that leads up to the actual 2009 pagenat on January 24th.

I almost hate to admit this, but with the pageant being the same weekend in September for all of those years, I used to think it was part of my birthday. :rolleyes: I will definitely watch it, but it's not the same in January.

Miss Kentucky is Emily Cox - Alpha Delta Pi from U of Kentucky.

That "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" guy was good but he completely oversang the song. I was surprised the judges didn't say anything about it.

Hmmm, I'd love for a KD to be in the competition, but I can't verify her on the national site.

If you mean the national Miss America site, most of them don't mention any sorority affiliation. They may say Order of the Omega or such, but not their actual GLO.

If you mean the national KD site, that's another story.

While I don't know of any Greek affiliation for Miss Virginia. She is the goalie for the Penn State Women's hockey team. She recently went one on one with one of our AHL players to raise money for the local children's hospital.

Yeah, I meant the KD national site. Her name doesn't come up as a sister. But it she's using a middle name or anything like that, then it wouldn't. NO idea. :)

I was at the last Pageant held in Atlantic City. I haven't watched the show on TLC but I will probably watch the actual Pageant - I love seeing the evening gowns!

I got to meet some of the contestants as they were in Vegas last weekend. We ran into them en masse in the Fashion Show mall, and also wandering around town.

I sadly did not get to meet Mr. A C Slater :(
