This is shocking and tragic. I've not seen any of my co-workers from India since I heard about this but am praying that their families are all ok. I don't know what area they are from.

I've been glued to CNN's coverage since yesterday. I've been keeping all of my Indian friends in my prayers because some of them have yet to hear from their family in the Mumbai area.

My b/f's roommate is Indian, and I found out that his parents were supposed to be in Mumbai the day of the attacks, but his father had to have surgery so they canceled their trip to Mumbai.

It is so hard for me to watch it, yet I cannot help but watch the news coverage on this. I've learned so much about Indian culture and even started picking up a few Hindi words from my b/f (who is not Indian, but actually African American but speaks Hindi) and his roommate, and practically any other Indian friend or Indian person he comes across, and Bollywood films.

I can only hope and pray for the families across the world that have been affected by this, and that it ends soon, as peacefully as possible, and those responsible are brought to justice for it

One of my co-workers has been in India for a wedding. I'm not sure if he's still there. I don't know him very well because his desk is on the other side of the office and he's in a different department, but I definitely thought about him. We'll find out on Monday.

My family and I are scheduled to travel to India in less than a month. Not to Mumbai, but twelve days in the Northern part of India. I'm usually not too effected by this type of thing (due to the random nature) but I'm concerned about our safety. I will keep watching the news to see if officials think they have it all contained.
