1) The traditional placing is on the left side, near the heart. But (and I looked through the bylaws, standing rules and policies) there is no specific policy regarding this placement. In early years members were known to have worn the badge in their hair, on collars or lapels or as brooches.
2) Gamma Phi Beta also had the dark and light blue, but decided to change them to brown in honor of Dr. J.J. Brown, whose study was used for Friday afternoon meetings. |
Yayyy you got both of them! Got a question?
|
I want to revive this, so here's an easy one!
Where is Leadership Academy held? |
Aww I totally have a new question, but no one answered the last one. :(
|
I came close to applying one year as an alumna but didn't, and have never been. Maybe one of these years... I knew it was at a retreat type place but didn't know the specifics. But here we go!
Leadership Academy is a fun-filled four-day leadership retreat highlighted by outdoor leadership challenges, personal reflection and group interaction. Leadership Academy is held at Heartland Conference and Retreat Center, in Marengo, Ohio. |
I applied this year! The alumnae who apply are selected at random. Not sure when I'll hear back.
I realized that because you got the answer, it's supposed to be your turn to ask a new question...Haha oops... |
Ha! Okay...
What historically significant items did we lose when Fraternity Headquarters had a fire? |
Umm the original constitution?
|
Nope:
"The four bound sets of Grand Presidents’ reports, the Constitution, the Bylaws and Standing Rules, Proceedings and a complete file of songbooks were also rescued." |
