Stupid question. I unlocked the Valentine Formal, but you need a certain amount of Strapless Pink Gowns. Turns out you can only get them by doing the Designer Gallery Opening Event. I spent all of my energy doing the Designer Gallery and kept getting the fug fuchsia and sapphire shoes. Wtf? Grr!

Am I doing this wrong? Or does it really suck this much?

FYI: the group "sorority life! grow your house" apparently has no admins right now. So I made myself admin. I've gotten about 20 FRs in 10 minutes. So if you want to - join it and make yourself an admin with me.

You can get the strapless pink gowns from the designer gallery opening event or the shop for a formal dress event (which you should have unlocked if you've unlocked the valentine formal event). I think you have a better shot at getting the dress from the latter event.

Yes, I did unlock the Shop for a Formal Dress event. I guess I'll try that one next. I'm annoyed at the fact I spent a ton of energy on this one lame event and all I received in turn were ugly shoes that I didn't even need.

ETA: After 3 tries, I finally got the dress. Sweet! I managed to get an extra 2 just in case...

You can sell your ugly shoes. Unlike Plato's Closet, the SL Closet will always buy them (albeit for half of what they're worth).

My friend requests had died out to about 1-2 a day, and then, all of a sudden, I'm back up to 20+ a day. I just ignore them all now, since I'm over 1000, but it's really fricken annoying.

I got hit by a slapper. She fought me then lost, then went on a slap rampage. I don't know this person. I left her a message asking her what's up with the slapping and then she proceeded to slap some more. So, help me take the crazy *itch down! PM me to add me and please help! Ever since I first started playing its like a must advance at least a level or 2 in one day! lol I would love to have more sisters because like another girl stated I'm at a point where I can't do anymore "socializing" if anyone wants to add me my username for Sorority Life is "Egypt".....

I feel the same way, and am coming close to running into that problem.

However, I don't think you can add more sisters without friending them first.... and I am reluctant to add randoms to my FB.

I know that feeling some of my friends are supportive, while others feel that joining GLO's is pointless...one of my friends even called them "glorified gangs".....so silly! Lol and when I began playing the game they all thought I had lost it! but surprisingly some of them are in my house now and they are addicted! :p

Yeah, I don't dig that either. I wish there were another way to add peeps in SL.

I play SL! :) I agree with most that I do wish you could add sisters without "friending them".

I have found that when you friend people for the purpose of sorority life and once they join your house, you can de-friend them from your friends list and they will still be in your house.

OK I'm new here and need more sisters in my house. I only have 30 and no more of my FB friends want anything to do with SL. I am a daily player (3 or 4 times a day really!) What do I need to do to add more sisters outside of my FB friends?

Do you get gold, platinum etc mastery levels on those letter games or not? No one will answer my freakin' question.

These are the ones that DO NOT have mastery levels (of course i'm on level 73 on FB, so there might be more in the higher levels)

pretty much if it doesn't have a mastery icon by it (if you haven't started it, it'll have a bronze) then you can't master it.

THANKS!! I couldn't tell, because it had the little heart by it like the shopping spree things did and those had mastery levels.

I heard that the individual prizes for the winter ski trunk show are totally not worth the BPs, so I'm not doing it. Supposedly there is some kind of big reward for collecting all 8 prizes, but I don't know it for a fact.

My new mini got a couple of good prizes from the cookies- the Jason Wu t-straps and something else- but the rest of it is crap. Today I could've gotten the pink fairy dress, but I changed my mind at the last minute... blech!
