When should the TKE flag be displayed at full mast by itself?

The1calledTKE 12-01-2001 07:08 PM

Fraternity celebration days (founders day ect..)

When conclave is in session.

When grand officers visit the chapter, a past grand prytanis, volunteer officer or other distinguished visitor.

What would you fly it with, if not by itself?

AlphaGam1019 12-02-2001 12:01 PM

The American Flag. :D

According to TKE lore, the red carnation was decided as the fraternity's official flower because ?

The1calledTKE 12-03-2001 10:28 PM

It was seen growing at the house where the founders met.

What was the name of the 2nd crest during the 1913- 1924 years?

GmuTeke 12-05-2001 01:07 PM

i'm gonna guess the Bastard crest cause that's the only one that really had a name. (coined by the XI chapter as per TKE trivia.)

The1calledTKE 12-05-2001 02:15 PM

Nope it is the Minchin Coat of Arms

Describe the past grand prytanis jewel.

GmuTeke 12-05-2001 10:42 PM

The Past Grand Prytanis jewel is a Roman-gold triangular key, the sides of which are one inch in length, surmounted on the obverse side by a gold scroll bearing the scales of justice, a gavel bearing the Greek letters of the chapter of the owner, and a scroll bearing the letters TKE. This jewel is worn during sessions of the Grand Chapter, chapter installations, and on other important occaisions, suspended from the neck by a cherry and gray silk ribbon.
