The movie was really good IMO. The only disappointing parts to me were that they did not do very well with Bree's character in the movie. In the book, she is wild and barely able to contain herself when she is near Bella and she is not similar at all in the movie. I think the movie stuck to the storyline really well. Jasper and Rosalie's stories were good scenes. I'd give it an 8 out of 10.

HP looks awesome! I am so excited about seeing it!

My friend posted a photo that made me LOL:

"I'm on Team 'Shut-the-hell-up-I'm-trying-to-watch-the-movie'." :p

Saw it last night and thought it was the best of the three. However, I had major issues with the hairstylist to the talent - especially what was done to poor Jasper. His hair looked like a sheepdog and a dirty mop mated and its offspring decided to live on the top of his head, then a stylist whacked out on crystal meth highlighted it. Carlisle's hair was banana yellow, Esme's looked like a trainwreck, they forgot to dye Rosalie's eyebrows and Jane's eyebrows were desperately in need of a set of tweezers. Bleah.

Everyone's eyebrows were bushier this movie - so random! I thought the movie pretty much stuck to the storyline but missed the emotional charge of the book. The acting was unexceptional, to be kind. It was fun because I went with friends, but the studios knew that people would see it regardless, and it makes me wonder if they could have upped the budget and really made it a great movie.

OMG my sisters and I are OBSESSED with the twilight series!! like 10 or 15 of us went the other night to the midnight premiere of Eclipse and it was AMAZING!!! <3456

one of our sisters, when she was sisterhood involvement chair, had a twilight night and decorated our chapter room like forks, WA and had posters everywhere and they watched the first movie. it was neat!

Next movie = please fire hairdresser.

Other than that, entertaining. Question for next movie, will Bella's wedding dress be made of flannel plaid, and will Jacob wear a shirt?

I was surprisingly "meh" about the movie. I was kind of "meh" about this book in the series, too. It kind of felt like "ok, now I have to get the plot from the end of New Moon to the beginning of Breaking Dawn, so let's throw in a bunch of random stuff."

I really wish they would have had the line in the tent about Edward telling Jacob that if it were him in the sleeping bag with Bella, it still wouldn't make the top 10 best nights of his life.

It's been awhile since I read the book, but I don't think the book implied that the Volturi (or at least Jane and Felix) knew that the newborn army was after Bella and was going to let it happen. Was it really necessary to add that?

I know Jasper is from the South and we learn about that more in this movie, but his accent was weird for me - one because I felt like he sounded more mentally handicapped than Southern, and two because he didn't have an accent in the first two movies (not that he spoke MUCH). Ditto on what everyone else said on the terrible hair as well.

Note for books and movie: I wish we knew something more about Emmett. Carlisle was the first of the Cullens and lived with the Volturi, Edward was second and was in a hospital dying, Esme jumped off a cliff, Alice wasn't made by Carlisle, and was in a mental institution, Rose and Jasper had detailed backstories in this book/movie, but I don't think we know ANYTHING about Emmett, do we? (Once again, it's been a little while since I read the series. I could be wrong.)

Wasn't Emmett seriously injured by a bear and when Rosalie came across him, she saved him? I believe he was from the early 1900's himself.

Yea Rosalie found him dying of bear attack injuries so she ran him to Carlisle, who changed him for her. She asked Carlisle to change him because he reminded her of Henry, the baby of her friend she met up with the night she was changed. Emmett is from the 1930s.

OMG YES please fire the person in charge of hair!!!!! it was AWFUL.

If I remember correctly, in the book Alice picks out Bella's dress for her and its a one-of-a-kind design (and super pricey), sooo Im guessing its not flannel lol.

I just reread the book to prepare for the movie (since it'd been a while, and I apparently like to set myself up like that :p), but I got the impression from the book that the Volturi did know that the newborn army was after Bella. I don't have my book with me, but it was along the lines that they weren't hurrying to the clearing (maybe Alice saw them stopped?) and Edward made a comment about it to Jane after the battle had already gone down.

Did I dream this or did Emmett have blonde hair in the first movie? And he's a brunette now in the third?

Speaking of hair...Jasper. -sigh- WHY do they do this to him?

Eclipse wasn't as wretched as the last two. I managed to get through it with a limited amount of eye-rolls. :) Enjoyed the action/fight scenes the most.

Expected Bree (the newborn) to be a lot more feral. Instead, in the film, she just appeared to have a mild case of indigestion.

Favorite line from the movie....

I'm hotter than you.

Best frickin part of the movie!

Team Jacob for the movie!

My question though, really Bella is so incredibly whiny, it is amazing that these two mean are falling over themselves to be with her. LOL. She's not quite as annoying in the first book (which I'm reading right now). Plus, Kristen Stewart, as an actress really doesn't impress me.
