Yes, unfortunately, Soror Bebe Moore Campbell passed. Condolences to her husband, two children, family and friends.

:( :( :( :( OMG!!!!! I forgot that she had been ill and just read the article. One of my favorite authors. I even met her in 2001 or 2002. WOW. Truly sad. Rest in peace and my condolences to her family, friends, and Sorors.

That same link that had her story also mentioned about how some folks (if you know what I mean) reacted to the Cleveland paper's coverage on Gerald Levert. Reminds me when people were covering Aalyiah's death. I remember working at the newspaper and BEGGING them to put news on the accident in the paper because they left if out the day (or two days) after she passed.

I am so saddened by Bebe Moore Campbell. I had no idea. :(
