Welcome to GC. We just have been undergoing some "renovations" and "abatement" issues and discovered we have an "infestation". So, we are doing some treatment options and fumigations using this "spray".

I am new to GC, but I did however, take the time to lurk and read a bit of the information presented on SF decorum for this site. First of all I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I have been a member on this site for a little while and I took some time to just observe and be a silent reader before posting (I have posted only one other time). I want to say that the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha on this site truly handle themselves in a friendly, intelligent, and graceful manner. You all constantly inspire me!!! Please keep up the great work!!

I am a sisterfriend in Alabama and I aspire to one day become a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. I have been taking the time to read some of the threads that have been archived, as one of your members suggested, and it has been very helpful to me. I recommend this for any other sisterfriends and or aspirants who want to get some good advice or some basic information.

Also I noticed in some of the archived threads that the members were very helpful and had no problem with an interest emailing them with questions or concerns. I hope that a few abusers have not caused this resource to be disallowed b/c If I am chosen to begin the journey into your wonderful sisterhood and sorority I would love to be able to ask you all some questions as well as get some great advice.

Again I just want to say hello and thanks. :)

I am sorry, but SF please read this and other threads......like the Pearls of Wisdom. Please do not send PM's to me or any other of my Sorors trying to milk us for information! :mad: Or any other sorority especially the D9! If you can not find it on the internet you probably shouldn't know the info anyway. I am not sorry if this come off as a rant, but it is rude to ask about ritual, cost, what is pledging ect. Reading is fundamental........look at the rest of GC, www.aka1908.com , read books, go to events to find out about Alpha Kappa Alpha.

TO the other sisterfriends with common sense continue to use it, that makes us (at least me) happy:D when you become sorors.

I get the 'jack, Soror. I've gotten PMs from SFs, too. All I can say is that policy was changed here for a reason (I've been on GC nearly 6 years) and that prospectives need to respect and abide by the community's rules.

I just wanted to make my official introduction. I've been an aspirant since I was about 5 (some of my Mom's friends are members), but I've been actively pursuing for about a year on the graduate level. Ummm...that's all I can think of at this moment.:D
