I hope the colony is successful, as the University of Miami despite recently adding Pi Phi does need more houses, as quota was in the 90's this past recruitment.

This is really exciting when a big SEC schools has a new group (well re-charter)! Does anyone know who presented with Theta? Just curious.

Alpha Omicron Pi and Delta Gamma also presented with them. I am really excited for this colony, I saw many excited alumni on social media. :D

You can tell I'm on my AOII volunteer sabbatical--I had no idea who presented. Nevertheless, it is very exciting for South Carolina and Theta! (PS One day I'll be a volunteer again--but with 2 daughters and working in college athletics, I am busy! HA!)

Delta Gamma is closing their chapters at University of Memphis and Portland State at the end of Spring semester.

That leaves 1 NPC sorority at Portland State.

There are no NIC fraternities at PSU. The last one, Phi Delta Theta, closed in 2023.

Here's the history of greek life at PSU. Not sure what caused the lack of interest that resulted in the closing of many greek organizations.

AOII is closing our chapter at Quincy University at the end of the semester. I am not surprised by this one - the university has faced financial challenges and has not been interested in growing Greek life, in my view, in some time.
