About 13 years ago, a record exec informed me that Maxwell is gay and his fro is a weave.
He's still FINE and talented. He needs to get the weave back and make an album. No overt homosexual OR heterosexual references necessary. Just good music that can apply to any relationship or sexuality. |

I was happy to see/hear Maxwell too; I used to be a huge fan (still am). I hope he grows the fro again also, it was beautiful and it was not a weave. For his second studio album (Embrya), he wore it mostly in braids. See pictures below:
