Off topic, we saw Chris Daughtry in Greensboro last week (along with 26,000 other people) and he was AWESOME live. I think not winning was the best thing to ever happen to him!

I agree that the contestants are boring :( It makes me sad. Last season there were two (Chris & Kathryn) that I REALLY liked & wanted to win... this year I feel kinda 'eh' about all of them.

I think I like Jordin & Haley though.

I love how Simon basically told Sanjaya (without actually coming right out and saying it) that he sucks and that he should thank the stupid folk in America for ruining the rest of every smart person's Tuesday night when they have to hear him sing.

I do agree that he does have 1-2 good moments...but he's 17. He should be trying out for a lead in the school musical, not American Idol.

The guys all suck this year. Yes, even Blake. He's not grabbing me.
The girls on the other hand are pretty good.

It'll be interesting to see who goes this week. I'd love it to be Sanjaya, but I have a feeling it'll be Chris S. or Haley.

Sad thing is, his crazy faux-hawk will probably help him stay another week!

All in all, AI is a yawn this year. I <3 LaKisha and I love to listen to Melinda sing. However, I don't see either of them as a Kelly Clarkson-type star.

He's still there because Howard Stern and the Vote for the Worst are pimping Sanjaya. People who don't even watch AI are voting for him just to see what happens. I think it's kinda cruel...you can tell Sanjaya doesn't want to be there anymore.

I read that Simon said he'd quit if Sanjaya wins. Hey jackass....you're the one who put him into the Top 24 when he was obviously the weakest contestant.
