Yup. The story is pretty much... no... all speculation. E.g., Zimmerman could have been called by a friend who is a police officer or he could have had a police scanner. That all followed up by the harassment of the family who was in the wreck, posting of all of their FB pictures online, harassment of the responding deputy, etc. So much so that they, according to one of the linking sites, actually felt they may have to go into hiding.

Oprah, seriously?

George Zimmerman's wife files for divorce.

George Zimmerman's wife makes 911 call saying that he threatened her with a gun.

I'm not taking the word of a convicted perjurer who may have or thinks she may have a strong incentive to gain the upper hand in a divorce proceeding at face value.

That might not be true:

I am with Kevin on this one with being skeptical until more evidence comes out.

As for her perjury, she probably took the fall for Zimmerman. It reminds me of every instance when people take the fall for someone or something that they consider to be worth the risk.

She had $135,000 in the bank and told the judge her family was indigent. Not only was that self-serving perjury, it was stupid. If she had told the legal team about the money, no way in hell they'd have let her get by with that whopper without quickly correcting the testimony, so it's even pretty safe to assume she wanted to hide the money from the lawyers.

In a word, she's shady.

DrPhil 09-10-2013 12:16 AM

Self-serving? Whose wife is she and whose trial was that?

DrPhil 09-11-2013 12:15 AM

Dr. Drew on HLN reminded me that Ann Coulter is an idiot 95% of the time.

No, Ann Coulter, Trayvon Martin was not "mugging" George Zimmerman and you cannot use that descriptor as a figure of speech. To hell with you and your upcoming book.

That is a little on the low side. ;)

If she's trying to hide assets from the court and from the attorneys who are going to want to be paid attorney fees from those assets, it's self-serving.

DrPhil 09-11-2013 12:02 PM

Uh George Zimmerman. She took the fall for both of them. I doubt she was twirling her thumb up her ass and thinking of a way to serve only herself. Instead, this is figuratively mutual masturbation (of course not a legal term) in the form of hiding money and lying in court.

Zimmerman Domestic Disturbance Arrest

Zimmerman was found "not guilty" during trial but that doesn't mean he isn't batshit crazy. As with people like O.J. Simpson who were found "not guilty" in a criminal case, the court of public opinion used their post-trial batshit craziness as evidence that there should've been a stronger case in the criminal court.

Yeah...I agree. But unfortunately our justice system always feels like a "work in progress" rather than a true coherent system. I find it odd that we hear about so many "convictions" now being overturned.....

DrPhil 11-19-2013 05:35 PM

That bitch named karma.
