Thanks Scully, I'm a new wedding show addict. This darn ring just makes me turn the channel and some shows make me totally bawl like a baby and others make me laugh out loud! I appreciate the marathon heads up! :D

Mere, I don't have On Demand! :( Has it already aired, did I miss it?

I believe Say Yes to the Dress only had a set number of episodes. I really hope they decide to do another season, that show was awesome! I love a show that focuses on one of the most important elements - the dress!

And WTF was up with that see-thru lacey lingerie looking dress that everyone wanted? It was hideous!!!

The show premieres on Sunday, June 1st. If you happen to miss the new episodes on Sunday nights, they will be available ON DEMAND the following Mondays.

In a few weeks, I won't have ON DEMAND anymore (we are moving and getting back my beloved DirecTV). But I saw it and wanted to pass it on to GC in case anyone wasn't patient enough - like me - to wait until Sunday night.

Not a problem :) Now I know what I'll be watching all day as I'm stuck inside cleaning!

I just watched the first episode, and it looks like it's going to be another season of trashy, tacky brides. It's obvious that these "ladies" aren't this way only because of the wedding...they're just low class. This show used to feature women who were spoiled and planning nice, expensive weddings. Not anymore! Lately they're just totally screwed up women that fight, cuss like sailors, and have disfunctional families. What's with all these women who feel it's OK for them to just not invite the mother of the groom to the wedding?!?

If the brides were sweet, politically correct and loved their future MIL, no one would watch it. It would make for a bad reality series ;-)

Well its Sunday and I'm watching the shows now and OMG Stephanie! I don't get mad often but she is someone that I seriously want to punch. And WTF is up with her getting breast implants! I'm sure her boobs would look bigger if she worked on reducing that stomach.

I'm watching Stephanie's story right now. I must of missed the episode of her getting her tiara the first time around. I know exactly where she got her tiara. Sam Moon is awesome. It's always a little bit crowed, but people who live in Texas know that. Nobody I know has complained about the not being waited on. If the service was so afwful, she could of gone to somewhere else. But then that wouldn't make very good tv. And Steph seriously needs to STHU. Her voice is getting on my nerves.

I realize that. But what I'm saying is that in the first couple seasons, the weddings being planned were way different than the, well, trailor trash-style stuff of the last couple seasons. I'd be more entertained watching a bridezilla freak out over her micromanaged, ellaborate, expensive affair where everything is supposed to be perfect than I would watching these chicks that just suck at life.

I completely agree, the show has taken nose-dive in terms of the quality of the weddings. I think Andrea (one of the first brides in the last season, the one who made her bridesmaids work out) was the last bride to have a wedding that I'd consider to be worthy of a Bridezilla-esque freak out. It all went downhill after hers.

The rest of them have (to me) just have not been worth ripping off people's heads. It's like WHY are you freaking out? Your tiara is made in Taiwan, your guests are eating on paper plates, and I've seen your gown on 100 other people.

Um this episode sucks id say more but its not worth it. . . .

KSUViolet06 06-02-2008 02:03 AM

I agree, this was pretty crappy.

Although I do have to say about the first girl (the one with the MIL that hates her), if you are crying and having a fit that you "have $46 in the bank and still have to pay for all this stuff", you need to re-evaluate your priorities. If you only are spending $2,000 between you, maybe you need to wait, or do something more cost effective like Vegas.

She said something like "We can use the money your mom gave you to fix your car." If you have to choose between your fiance having a working vehicle or having a wedding, this is obviously not something you can afford.

Thats exactly what i wanted to say!!!! I was just so annoyed with the lackluster episode after the hype/anticipation i figured id save my "breath"

SthrnZeta 06-03-2008 01:59 AM

Awww :( It's waiting for me on my DVR and now I'm not as excited about it. I guess I'll just have to watch Greek and be happy with that, lol.

SWTXBelle 06-03-2008 09:00 AM

I agree about the tacky weddings - but I have gotten a kick out of the Melbourne/Eau Gallie site of the wedding - I spent many happy years there!

I would like to add, Ayesha's husband needed to put her in check.
