I FINALLY left Fort Jackson and have reported in to Fort Bragg...find out tomorrow when I will be deploying...hopefully soon to get it out of the way!!

KunjaPrincess 07-06-2007 08:42 PM

AFBoiler, awesome, some very good friends of mine are at Ft. Bragg.

I don't think I posted my good news. I got a permanent job!!!! I'm a Unit Administrator for a Reserve Military Intelligence Unit which has nothing to do with my degree but it is in an area I love working and I get to do what I enjoy. I also get to go to Human Intelligence Collection school in a few so I can be a Military Intelligence Soldier. Way more exciting than what I was doing in the army! My unit is deploying in March but right now it doesn't look like I will be going as they need people in the rear to keep the unit running so I should be home....

That is GREAT!!!! So are you active reserve? Also what is your MOS?

I'm an aunt! My sister-in-law had a baby on Friday, which is also my Grandma's Birthday. This is the first child on my mom's side of the family since me, and that's been over 30 years. I'd say he's going to be spoiled, but most of the family is in California, so I don't how much spoiling he will get.

Just arrived home from a cross country trip to attend a Gamma Phi sister's wedding. The bride was beautiful...the wedding was perfect...only a little bittersweet because she's so far away! :(
