Why, why, why was Carmen NOT in the bottom three? I am too through that Rickey was voted off. While I don't think he gave the best performance, it was better than Carmen's.

BTW, I LOVED RUUUBEN in his Ford commercial. If they could edit out Carmen, it would be even better.

I don't know HOW that girl keeps slipping through. No big fan of Rickey but he did not deserve to get booted this week.

Now- is it just me but what did you think of Kelly Clarkson- the song grew on me (I watched the tape again) but the outfit did nothing for her-made her butt look big (and not in a flattering way). Comments??

I didn't like any of it--the song, the styling, the dancing. The song was written by Cristina Aguliera but it did not seem to fit in with Kelly at all.

I also can't believe that the movie "From Kelly to Justin" is coming out in movie theaters. It looks like it should be shown on regular TV as a made-for-tv movie. It would save a lot of money and embarassment.

I agree or been an after school special. I mean really how many fans does Kelly and Justin have? Would they have done this if it had been Tamyra as THE AMERICAN IDOL?!!?!??!!!??!

I do't really wactch American Idol, but I thought it was wack that Rickey got voted off. That other girl should have definitely got booted!

While I think both Kimberly C. and Carmen are horrible, I was SO pleased to see Rickey go. He rubbed me wrong from the beginning. What's up with him looking like a 45 year old man? Then he started in with that "Hercules, Hercules" mess. And to top it off, his voice was mediocre at best. Also, I feel like everybody that I really like is safe now because if there's any justice in America, Kimberly C. and Carmen have the next two "buh-bye" slots on lock. I really wish Josh wasn't a Marine because he'd have been gone a long time ago.

And that little Kelly interlude in the show: I definitely was NOT feeling her new look or that song. That outfit did kinda make her backside look big.

As for that Justin/Kelly movie clip, it looked like a hot mess to me! Why are they asking people to spend $7.50-$8.00 (or whatever the movies cost nowadays) to see something that should have come directly to cable on USA or FX or something?? :confused: My hubby saw the clip too and said that it looked like it should have been called "Grease '03".

I agree with everyone.. carmen should have been gone. And I think that if the vote would have happen last week she would have been gone. But ruban is great. At this point even if something happens and he doesn't take idol.. he will have a contract. It was nice to see him in something other than the 205 jersey :) I will miss ricki this week. He is the only one really playing with the themes.. like the afro

I love Rueben and Clay. Clay lacks the personality that Rueben has though.

I hated those 205 shirts. I was so glad he took it off! Give me something different Rueben baby!


But I have to say I was crying with laughter with Rueben's little song montage. That tux looked too little and Carmen(I think that's her) when she was dancing with him was leaning on his belly. comedy!
