*I'm the first person in my family to be Greek

*I have gained 35 pounds over the past 4 years, but I'm still "underweight". Everyone thought I was anorexic throughout high school, but I ate like a pig and had high metabolism
*I have a collection of over 150 bees (stuffed animals, pictures, teapots, knick-knacks, etc.) because they were my high school mascot
*My degree is in television production, but I secretly want to work for Admissions at Elon or in tourism
*My fiance and I will be married on the 8th anniversary of our first date (April 2, 2005)

- When I applied to college, I had a 1.4 GPA but a 34 ACT

- I've fallen out of a 4 story building without breaking anything (thank god for bushes)

- I've been arrested once in my life and it was for having a fake id

- I've made over 60 saves (lifeguarding) in the last 4 years and have had to perform CPR 8 times

- My eyes change from blue to grey

- I've actually met a girl online... She was 2 years older than me and lived in texas. She visited 3 times and once spent a week at my house (I was 16). She is now a DG at texas tech

- I'm the MO state triple jump champion for 2002 and 2003

- I actually liked vegitables as a kid

- I'm actually a little scared about moving from my parents house to the fraternity in August :(

-I play the tuba, flute, baritone, and trombone.
-I was born on St. Patricks Day
-I have gone to 4 different colleges
-I wear a size 12 in womens shoes
-I was taller than my mom and her mom when I was like 10
-I was in my first accident on the day that my insurance started on my first car

-I was born in Virginia, moved to Maryland, moved back to Virginia, then back to Maryland....I don't really like either state
-The only time I have been out of the states was when I went to Canada...it was really cool
-I have gotten like 4 or 5 tickets but no points off my record
-I have had a license in 3 different states- Maryland, Tennessee, and Kentucky
-My lowest gpa in college was a 1.5, my hightest was a 4.0
-I am 10 years older than my only sibling
-I had never lived without a dog until last year
-I had chickenpox 2 times
-I didn't have any cavities until I was 18
-When I got my tonsils out I was on the couch for a week...I am such a weenie!
-My parents are still together

Ok I will jump in...

*I graduated HS from the 12th school I had attended.
*I can cross my little toes (anatomy instructor made me take my shoes off and show the whole class cause that is something humans aren't suppose to be able to do :)
*I have visited every state west of the Mississippi River (except AK and HI) and I have been in all East of the Mississippi but the extreme Northeast. 45 out of 50 states.
*I have had 5 CSections (so it can and is done)
*I scored 34 on my ACT
*I was a guest on the Oprah show in Nov 1996
*I got my first cavity when I was 31. I have only had 4 since.

~I've never been out of the US, but I do have a passport.

~In a campground shower in West Memphis, Arkansas a lizard of sorts joined me in the shower...:eek:

~In 6th grade, myself and 3 other classmates were part of a wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetary on our 3 day school WDC trip.

~I grew up in the same house as & went to the same HS as my mom & aunt!!

~I didn't go to a movie theatre till age 15

~I didn't get my drivers license till my sophomore year of college

~I'm the daughter of two teachers and a teacher myself

~ I wanted to be a veterinarian, but couldn't get past chemistry.

~I was hospitalized for pancreatitis when I was 16 (a disease that often affects alcoholics).

~ I have never done illegal drugs.

~My high school chemistry partner is/was a model for Abercrombie.

~I won an award for the Best Senior Thesis in History for 2001.

~I have studied and can write a small amount of Akkadian(written in cuneiform).

*I wanted to be a ballerina until I was 14 and my teacher told me I was too fat. I haven't danced ballet since but I was on the WVU dance team.

*I was Homecoming Queen in HS....just like my grandma and mother:)

*I am the first Delta Gamma in my VERY Greek family!

*I've read and own every John Grisham book ever.

*My left ear looks like I had an earring ripped out of it but actually when I was a baby a little girl my mom babysat for cut it with sissors.

*I show my horses and help my stepmother train them whenever I am at my dads.

*One of my horses was bred from my stepmothers horse (who is a champ!) and another horse and someone offered me a lot of money for her at show simply because of her blood. But she's crazy and we couldn't part with her:)

*I'm a good tumbler. I use to be able to do a full but I doubt thats possible anymore.

*I'm related to Jay Rockefeller.....but maybe I shouldn't admit that? heh

*Everyone in my family went to college....both sets of grandparents, parents and aunts and uncles!

I have a "hole" in my chest.....actually its a medical condition....normal english terms its called Funnel Chest. It's not as bad as some peoples in the way it looks but its something unique.

* my uncle recently put out a CD and Alison Krauss played fiddle on it. He is considered a guitar legend in Germany.

Some of my boyfriend's unique facts:
*his grandfather owned a nightclub in Pittsburg that was burned down by Al Capone. His grandfather also patented the seats that are found in movie theaters across america (the bouncy ones with cup holders) He also owns half of the Pier in daytona beach, fla.
*his grandmother was a showgirl.

- I am the youngest, but tallest of the women in my family (by 6").

- I grew up on a farm my great-grandparents originally bought; my dad and his brothers still work it.

- Except for the summer I lived in London, I've lived in Iowa my entire life (and will probably never move out of state).

- But I've been to 44 of the 50 states.

- I was kissed by Dave Matthews sophomore year of college (he was wasted).

- I was hit by a moving car while rollerblading, did over $1K damage to the car, but only had scrapes and bruises (and a damn $5 ticket for rollerblading in the business district of my hometown).

- I've never broken any bones and have only stayed overnight in the hospital once (see above).

- Prior to my husband, my longest relationship was 3 months.

- I can touch my tongue to my nose.

- I scored a 24 on the ACTs when I took it in 7th grade. I scored a 30 when I took it for real. (I probably should have studied harder).

- I've been driving by myself since I was 14 (gotta love school permits and growing up in a rural area).

- I was the County Fair Queen the summer after I graduated high school.

- Everyone in my immediate family was either Valedictorian or Salutitorian of their high school class except me. I missed it by .002 (damn you Mindy Wolf, and your two study halls senior year).

- I have a great memory for random facts and was voted "most likely to win on Jeopardy" in high school.

- I have a tendency to overuse parenthesis (can you tell?)

- I hate raw apples, but will eat them any other way (apple sauce, apple pie, apple crisp, apple martinis...)
