AJ graduated from Spelman around '85 or 86. I'm in the class of '88 and I know she was at least 2 years before me. She pledged, I think, In 83 or 84, because she was either a Delta when I got there, or joined during my Freshman year.

AJ was not Miss Maroon & White, "the queen" in School Daze, it would have spoiled Spike's entire light/dark thing, although she was Miss Maroon and White in real life. A girl by the name of Leslie Sykes, who happens to be an AKA was the queen in the movie.

Yep, I was on campus when they filmed the movie but did not go to any of the casting calls.
