There was an article about that somewhere.

As to why, most HBO shows don't go longer than 5 seasons. Longer than that, a lot of the actors wouldn't be able to advance to other things. That's just my speculation though.

David Simon actually planned for the show to last 5 seasons. He said in an interview that if HBO had not picked up the 5th season he wanted to write a book about it. Even if he hadn't, I am sure most of the actors, especially the black actors, would not be worried about advancing to other things. It's not like the Michael K. Williams' (Omar) of the world are being sought after for roles other than "Street Thug #2" on most shows.

I was literally depressed last night because the Wire was not on. there was not even Flavor of Love to make me feel a bit better! LOL

Hmmmmm.... I have a funny feeling that Michael was molested, or suffered some type of abuse from his lil' bro's dad.

ON DEMAND is off the chain! I love it! I do feel like Michael was molested by his little brother's dad. There is one character that gets on my nerves though...it's the light-skinned chick that looks like a dude. I can barely understand her when she talks. It makes me :mad:

the episode they showed sunday night had me laughing at chris and snoop--when she rolled up on that dude to find out if he was a NY dude and Chris had to calm her down, I cracked up!!
