How important are grades?
Scholarship is the most significant factor in sorority selection and membership. GPA requirements are derived from either your high school or college grades. Please note the minimum GPA required by any NPC group on the UL Lafayette campus for a high school student is a 2.5. However, some groups have higher GPA requirements. Any potential new member must understand the strong emphasis placed by the individual chapters regarding academics. Below is a listing of the minimum GPA requirements for the UL Lafayette chapters:
AOII- 2.6 (High School) 2.6 (College)
DDD - 2.8 (High School) 2.5 (College)
KD - 2.7 (High School) 2.7 (College)
Phi Mu- 2.6 (High School) 2.6 (College)
SSS - 2.5 (High School) 2.5 (College)

Actually, the dates Jill listed were last year's dates. U of T's panhel site hasn't been updated just yet, but recruitment is early this year (last time I checked, anyway). The regular dates clash with the Jewish holidays.

Hey, I know that dates and the orgs have been listed but I was wondering if someone could post the type of events and what days they fall on... for example
Is Aug 25 the first rounds/Open House day?

I looked at the UK site and couldn't find anything that was up to date.

You forgot Alpha Phi. Also, Alpha Delta Pi does not participate in Formal recruitment. They don't have a chapter house and can't compete with the other chapters.

Sorry about that...don't know where I was when typing that :)

And I didn't know about ADPi not participating....in our quarterly magazine, all it says is that UNL's recruitment occurs in August, so I guessed that they participated with everyone else. Sorry for the confusion!
