Thanks to the Saudis for their cooperation and help.

Thanks to the Saudis for their cooperation and help.

They are flooding the market with millons of extra barrels of crude, and forcing the US price for gas down, helping to re-elect the good guys and hasten the Democrats into high-paid lobbying and consulting jobs.

The Saudis are not dummies. They realize that if Democrats ever get control, al-Qiada and bin Laden will run wild - with their first target the oil under Saudi sands and the Saudi government.

Why yes! That's gotta be it... oil prices are dropping because the Saudi's don't want Democrats elected

'Course it could also be that Alberta stepped up it's shipments of 'heavy oil' to the US for processing, as Oil Sands production almost doubled this year... but hey, can't possibly be this, because it doesn't centre on a foreign nation catering to US partisan politics...

Coop, agree to a certain degree.

But, the change over from summer to winter gas is also a consideration because of the aditives.

The US has a crap lot of oil, but the problem is refining!

American Car Companys are dieing on the vine for many reasons, one being non guzzleing cars.

They complain but do not do anything about it!

I drive 4 1/2 miles daily and some complain as they drive 50 + miles a day to work! DA!

So, who makes the decission about how far you drive and how much it costs?

You're mentally retarded.

Yes, Saudi Arabia, that great bastion of anti-terrorist feelings . . . wow.

Edited because I hadn't had enough caffeine yet when I typed "Chevron" instead of "Citgo."

He's not kidding, the Al Saud family would probably much prefer a republican administration

True... it's not like they have the same connections within the Democrats - the Democrats would be much harder to wring consessions or deals out of...

Nope, there's a Speedway and a Shell right by my office, that both took the jump. And then another set a few miles down the road that I pass. Prices had been dropping until this recent spike.
