It is a neck & chest Snuggie without the arms. I think old ladies at my church wore these, and they were called dickies.

...... Hm. The Necky.

But how can you turn down the complimentary lighted lock de-icer?!?!?!

33girl 12-17-2009 11:34 PM

They've been selling these at ski shops for years.

Yep, this is the argument I used to fuel the anti-snuggie campaign to my father! Along w/ the common sense that I already own blankets! *&* sweatshirts too!

Down with the snuggie.

I saw a kid at school today with a Bob the builder blanket(this was probably a junior), I seriously wanted to recommend the snuggie or one of those new fangled pieces of clothing - a jacket.

again ROTFL!!!

Then they'll use their 'as seen on TV' life alert (remember those commercials!)

They have those booklights at Borders. You don't have to buy a Snuggie to get one.

Yep, they work really well too *&* you get a choice in booklight color (mine's purple, no snuggie attached)!

About 45 minutes into our phone call, a good friend told me she wants a Snuggie. I wrapped up that convo about two minutes later, but I let her know she should be ashamed of herself.

Seriously? A cult robe to enjoy hot tea in? What's in that damn tea?! Note to self: Don't drink the tea at K's house.

lyregirl04 12-25-2009 06:43 PM

My sister just got a zebra print one for Christmas and has been wearing around the house since she opened it...I may have to disown her.

My two sons, ages 12 and 14- wanted snuggies for their birthdays. Since they are pretty reasonable, I bought them. Now Beavis and Butthead, as I like to call them, wear them all day. ( Over their clothes, of course)

epchick 12-25-2009 10:09 PM

Snuggie FAIL

So the snuggie is really warm, but it doesn't have a way to close the back, so its constantly sliding off my mom's shoulders. Boo to the Snuggie.

oncegreek 12-25-2009 10:28 PM

I would be inclined to agree. As I am typing this, Beavis and Butthead are parked on the couch, watching "Jackass the Movie," wearing their snuggies. When I think of all the books I read to them when they were little, and all the museums and other educational places I took them to.... this was not the end result I envisioned....maybe it's just a phase...

I think the name of this thread should be changed to "OMG WTF how did I live without the snuggie?????"

I'm not sure where to post this, but my friend posted this as his status on FB.

Wearing a snuggie for the first time is like the first time you eat a b**** out. kinda iffy on whether it' a good idea but in the end it isnt half bad

I don't think you get the benefits from a Snuggie that you get as a result of doing that other thing. At least, I sincerely hope you don't.

LOL at Beavis & Butt-Head. If that show was still on, they would totally do a Snuggie episode.
