OMG!!!!!!!!! DO MY EYES DECEIVE ME????

Senusret I 06-24-2008 10:09 PM

Why was Ne-Yo chewing gum like a damn cow?

I don't like Maxwell with a fade. But he CGI still.

RedefinedDiva 06-24-2008 10:12 PM

I didn't know what name they called at first. I knew that I HEARD Maxwell, but I didn't think it was true. And he didn't look like himself when he walked out. But, oh baby, when he started singing, AAAAAHHHHHHH!!! I was screaming like a damn fool!!

Senusret I 06-24-2008 10:13 PM

^^^ I definitely turned 15 again when I heard his voice.

Ew. Diddy is gross.

Why he thank the Academy though? lol

RedefinedDiva 06-24-2008 10:14 PM

Oh really, Al Green? That's all you had to say? Um, OK. But the song makes up for your lack of words!

Watching the crowd sing with Al makes me sad that I won't be at Essence to sing with Frankie. :(

Does it though? He sounds kind of horrible. (except for the high notes) But hearing the whole crowd sing along gives it a family reunion feeling.

Sidebar: Kayne West looks like the goober in high school that nobody liked but HE thought he was the bee's knees.

I am so laughing at you at the John Legend comment...he he he.....

Yo that was Maxwell.....I missed who they said were coming out, and then even when he started to sing I still had no clue as to who he was...damn now I need to see that over again.....actually I'm digging him with the fade.

Senusret I 06-24-2008 10:19 PM

LMAO

Did y'all see Ludacris' distended belly though? Too much chicken & beer.

Senusret I 06-24-2008 10:20 PM

I'm surprised Sheryl didn't have on a "Vote for Me, Sorors!" shirt on. Or something.

Senusret I 06-24-2008 10:21 PM

I see you, Jordin Sparks!

Another side note: they really need a dress code.

Still BLUTANG 06-24-2008 10:22 PM

i dont want to see none of these rappers talking about killing and robbing and trapping anymore - not when we have them on tape dancing and 2-stepping like old people to al green.

I agree, he was sounding not to good to me either, but I love some Al Green and like you said with the crowd into it really makes up for it with the whole reunion vibe.
