I'm finishing fellowship this year and looking forward to getting a 'real' job. One of my chapter sisters who attended my medical school but is several years my junior just matched to Yale for residency. I'm thrilled for her!

Advice for picking a specialty
 

Hi, everyone!

I was all set to apply for Internal Medicine, but then I did a teaching assistant program (an extra year of medical school and teaching for tuition reimbursement) and now I'm not sure what to do. How did you choose?

Have you done clinical rotations yet (MS-3/MS-4 at most schools)? I certainly had some ideas about where my interests lay even before I started medical school, but third year was where I figured out with certainty what specialty I wanted to pursue.
