I went to the Braves/ Astro's game tonight. I am glad I was there to watch maybe Roger's last start ever. Turner field was electric when Roger got his standing ovation after being taken out.

Gibbons apparently isn't using enough of them. Pettite and Clemens are workout partners...I'm a bit surprised at how long it took to bring Clemens into these discussions (a 44 year old pitching as well as he has).

Yeah, it just sucks that now there's an 'official' link, although not a 'proven' one by any stretch (which is the worst kind).

But yeah, since they're hetero life partners, it's pretty obvious that Clemens and Pettitte would be linked together.

I'm hoping the links are disproven and they're on the straight and narrow. It's not all that fun to hear these great players being tied to all this stuff.

Yay, Padres clinched! I'll always have love for Mike Piazza... even when the Mets have to beat him in the NLCS. :-P

Chicago fans can breathe a bit easier, Dusty Baker was fired. Now at least part of that "brain" trust has been cleaned out of Wrigley. I didn't notice, but has Hendry been fired as well?
