Baby Dies After Falling in Mother's Vomit
AP
NEW YORK (Sept. 22) - A 3-month-old infant fell off a bed into a bucket of her teenage mother's vomit and died, said police, who charged the woman with negligent homicide on Thursday.

Savarin Dejesus, 18, had left the child with a baby sitter at an East Harlem group home where she lived to go out partying Sept. 15, police said.

When she returned, Dejesus vomited in the bucket next to the bed where she fell asleep with her daughter, Niah Ford, in her arms, police said.

The infant later tumbled into the bucket and apparently drowned, police said. Dejesus didn't discover what had happened to her baby until the next afternoon.

The girl was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.

Dejesus also was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. She was in police custody late Thursday.

A woman who answered the telephone at Dejesus' group home, the Fox House, declined to comment on the baby's death.

Fetus Cut From Womb: Murders remaining children

I don't know if anyone else has been keeping up with this story from East St. Louis, but a woman Tiffany Hall killed a pregnant Jimela Tunstall and cut her fetus out of her womb. Jimela had 3 other kids which had been missing but they found them. There were drowned and stuffed in a washer and dryer.

Autopsy: Slain woman's kids were drowned

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. - A woman accused of killing a pregnant woman and her fetus told police she drowned the woman's three young children and stuffed them into a washer and dryer at their apartment, an official said Sunday.

Preliminary autopsies on the dead children Sunday appear to show they were drowned, Ace Hart, a deputy St. Clair County coroner, told The Associated Press.

As of Sunday, Tiffany Hall, 24, had not been charged in the children's deaths, but prosecutors on Saturday accused Hall of killing their mother, Jimella Tunstall, 23, and her fetus. The fetus had been cut from her womb, authorities said

I've been following this story from the beginning and I am just in total shock and sadness. I'm 25 and just can't fathom someone my age doing this. These two were young (23 and 24) and grew up together. I know that she (Hall) will probably get the death penalty for this but I pray that she gets the mental help that she so obviously needs. She (Hall) also has 2 daughters of her own. I hope that they are safe and their family gets them into counseling asap. I read as well that Hall's mother and Tunstall's aunt are best friends and have been supporting each other emotionally. What a tragedy for both families.

That's awful. I thought that the Hall lady didn't have any kids. What the hayle is goin' on? Do you all think it's always happened but with the media it's more prevalent?

She can't wipe ISHT with those nails. She needs some SPRAY and WIPES to get her booty clean. Hypothetically.

I wouldn't eat a thing she cooks. Not one thing.

Mom reportedly hurls baby at boyfriend
Associated Press
ERIE, Pa. - A woman used her 4-week-old baby as a weapon in a domestic dispute, swinging the infant through the air and striking her boyfriend with the child, authorities said. The baby was critically injured in the attack early Sunday, said District Attorney Bradley Foulk.

"Never, never, never. I can never remember anything like this," Foulk told the Erie Times-News.

Chytoria Graham, 27, of Erie, was charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and simple assault. She was held Monday in the Erie County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail.

The infant, whose name and gender were not released, was taken to a hospital in Pittsburgh. Authorities did not identify the hospital, and the baby's condition Monday was not released.

There was no immediate indication whether the man Graham is accused of attacking was the baby's father.

Authorities removed four other children from Graham's home and placed them with the Erie County Office of Children and Youth, Foulk said.

  Tragedy!!!:( :(

ERIE, Pa. -- A northwestern Pennsylvania woman accused of using her baby to batter her child's father said she didn't realize what she was doing until it was too late.

Chytoria Graham, 27, of Erie, told police she had been drinking when an argument with the child's father turned violent early Sunday morning, according to an affidavit filed to support Graham's arrest.

Graham said she "snapped" and began grabbing things and throwing them at Deangelo Troop, 20, not realizing she had picked up her 4-week-old son, Jarron Troop, telling police she held the child by his legs and swung him at his father. Police had said they believed the woman held the baby by the midsection when she hit the man.

Graham was being held in the Erie County Jail on Monday on $75,000 bond. She faces charges of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and simple assault.

Jarron, who was born Sept. 11, suffered a fractured skull and bleeding in the brain after the incident. The infant's head hit Deangelo, who had also fathered one of Graham's other four children.

Deangelo told the Erie Times-News that Graham never meant to hurt their child.

"People are trying to make a big deal about it, but she did not do it on purpose. ... It was just a mistake," he said.

Throwing a baby at his father is NOT A MISTAKE!!! :(
