Most often done with two or more people, but you can do it yourself. Thumb and pointer finger make a heart, middle finger makes a triangle on top of the heart, and the other fingers are "dove wings."

I believe that my pc was the first to do it at my chapter, but now they do in group photos.

^^^^If I'm missing something, please let me know.

But, is that a guy in the front row? Is he an advisor or something? :o

WinniBug 12-29-2009 01:10 AM

He just was named the chapter's Sweetheart.

AlwaysSAI 12-29-2009 01:19 AM

^^^Ah. I always forget about sweethearts.

Anyway, I just realized that I've never posted a picture or anything about SAIs "new" hand sign. I'll have to get on that.

I didn't see ZTA's yet so here it is. You make a two-link chain with your thumbs and forefingers and then put the rest of the fingers together to form the top of the crown (we have a link for every chapter ever established in a long chain on display at IO, hence the chain).

My chapter of Alpha Sigma alpha does the same sign as ZTA,which is cool since we are both "Longwood Four" sororities. :)
