I actually met one of her sisters at a church event. Apparently BabyP is the president of her organization and since they are just starting out, she's probably swamped with that and grad school. I haven't talked to her in a long time though.

Besides that... I think all my Sacto resident greeks are missing. bsp-mich24, CSUSigEp... where are you all?

I miss myself. GC is boring lately.

It's funny that you mention that. I was cleaning up my buddy list last night and *almost* deleted you... But then I was like "hmm..I wonder where she's been...perhaps I'll PM her tomorrow when I get online" and then *Poof*, there you are!!

Good to hear from you!

All is well down here in Bayou Land. The house is decorated for Christmas-it was by Thanksgiving Day-I just go straight to Christmas due to time restraints. Had 10 for turkey, Hubby's side. No fights, just good conversation. Hey If you like pie, there is a company called Texas Heritage that makes WORLD FAMOUS apple pies. They claim to have the most apples packed into them and I must admit they are better than any from scratch I've ever eaten or made.

Son will either end up with 4.0 or 3.7 depends on one class. Daughter is probably going to have a 3.5. Spanish is KILLING her. Had some more locals in LX and they are terrific. All dropped in for a short stop this weekend. I've known them for several years.

Christmas is on my mind. Lot's of volunteer work ahead this month as well as family obligations. Just have to keep a cool mental outlook as things are always rumbling 'neath the surface...if you catch my drift. Somewhat strained relations with my sister and to a much lessor extent, Mom, but Oh (h)well.

We have been very busy at the office. Our newest assistant is really great. She's in her 40's. Seems to be a good age with an understanding of what a "work ethic" means.

Weather has been really beautiful-blustery of late-but beautiful nonetheless. We had a ton of rain, but it keeps the flowers blooming. My roses are going crazy and that is great because my flowers bring me peace and time to ponder and pray.

Not much else happening except life moving on. Have little time to even get on the computer. Hubby is on more than me which is a TOTAL shocker. So, if he's gone through all the hubbub of signing on, I'll sit down and check mail. That's really about it. Haven't heard from Candy in a while. Hope you all can hang in there and keep the peace for the next batch of GCers that inevitably come in the spring. Not much else
except I hope your December is safe and shared with those you love.
