So, is hair one of your motivators?  If not why did you mention it? I think we all know some people of mixed races. Also, there are some people of mixed races and one gene is more dominant, so watch what you say about the hair. |

It's ok to sincerely be attracted to a certain type of person. I'm just concerned about your self-hate statement as a reason for this attraction. I hope that you learn to accept the fact that your hair and that of your future children may be nappy, but you can still be beautiful. |

p.s. what black man wouldn't leave their black girl for a white girl and knock her up huh? |
Yes I am black like you, but no I don't understand where you're coming from. Although I have never done so, I don't see a problem with dating outside your race. Everybody has their preference. However, for someone to make a statement about have a big lip baby is just ridiculous. A lot of white women are going to extremes trying to get the big lips you so hate. For you to make the comments about lips and hair, you must not have an understanding of genetics. I would suggest you do a little research about the subject before making such comments. It doesn't matter what your child looks like, chances are they will be teased at some point. Even if they have straight and silky hair, they will be too fat or too skinny, too dark or too light, too tall or too short, too proper or too country etc. There will always be something. That's when you, as a parent, step in and let them know that they are beautiful just the way they are. Interracial kids go through just as much as other kids if not more. Marinate on that!

Excuse me if this is a real post from the heart. if this is the case, these issues go way past hair. If it were just about hair then a perm, straightener, texturizer,or even a hot comb would be clear solutions. You just told on your self by mentionng big black lips as another issue you have |

If I had big lips then great, but I don't and I am fine with that. So does that put me in a different black girl category?? Did your hair put you through that much trauma for it to be 'karzy' (as you said)? I know plenty of black men who would not leave their woman just to make a baby....if you want to speak with one you can ask my dad, grandfather, uncle or my boyfriend. Oh well if you respond or not...doesn't matter ....carry on everyone else! |

I just read what you wrote and I truly have to believe that you are not a black man. You must be someone pretending to be a black man just to get a rise out of those who would respond to your post. And truly, a black man who knows himself, would love the package that comes with being a black man...to include the various hair textures that we black folks are born with, as well as everything else that comes along with us being...us. I'm not trippin' on who you date or fall in love with, but rather, I'm trippin' on you denouncing our genetic parts, and a black man, just wouldn't do that. |
