Dylan = bad attitude

Well you know that he believes that he is da man . . . man . . . there is supposed to be some kind of episode where he gets an earful from Wyclef and I am just waiting for that to happen because his head is a bit on the big side for him to be running around with a criminal record. http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung...smiley-042.gif He always looks so angry when he raps/chants/flows/whatever he does. I think that he is under the impression that nobody understands his craft. It seems like everytime he is anywhere near the mic though, someone is telling him to speak up or speak clearly or just speak.

Okay, I just heard The Band's song, "why," on Kazaa. I must say that before this I never really thought I would like Chopper or Fredrick on a song, but they were actually good. Ness and Babs I could have done without though. Dylan's part in the beginning was really good too. All in all, the song was okay.

I think there was just enough Dylan on the song. They have to cut his parts down because otherwise, the reggae would dominate everything. Sara's part was small but I could see what Puff was trying to do. If she sings every hook, the songs will all start to sound alike. Sometimes rappers need to do their own hooks to give the song the right sound.

I don't think that all of the band members should try to be on every song. There is just not enough room to get everyone to show off their talent in four to five minutes. I hope that Puff gives them all their own individual times to shine. Sara should get a song that's all hers and have one of the rappers just do 16 bars at the end. Dylan should get to do his own little reggae joint and so on and so on.

ANOTHER DARN GOOD EPISODE!!!!!

Oh my goodness, you all...I was like CTHU at Sara for snappin'! I loved the fact that she can get ghetto! I do feel bad for her because she is the only singer and doesn't come from the same background as everybody else, but you do what you gotta do! I admire her humbleness! I can't believe she got drunk!! That was like whoa! And she even snapped on her hubby! How old is Sara, y'all? She said that they had been married for 7 years...she looks so young.

AS ALWAYS...ANOTHER DAYUM GOOD EPISODE!!

Good night! It's my bedtime!

I was proud of Sara tonight. Even when she got twisted! She shocked everyone was shocked. I was a little irritated with Bat (oops) I mean Babs kept saying how easy Sara had it, but I softened a little when they showed Sara having the same viewpoint about the MC's.

BTW ClassyLady your sig is a real eye opener :D ;) :p

Thank you. I wish I could take credit for it but it is not mine. I got it from Star Jones and I don't know if she made it up or got it from someone else.

Last night's episode was pretty good. I'm glad that Puffy got someone to work with Sara. I think that made her feel a bit better. LOL @ her getting her drink on, though. She slammed the phone on her hubby - whoa!!! I'm glad that she and Chopper made up after their little fight about the food. :)

More on Sara

I actually was a little disappointed in yesterday's episode. Sara is talented, but her maturity and background make her different from the rest of the group. They were not really trying to make her apart of it either.

Then she goes and gets drunk and everyone is feeling her a little more? I was disappointed to see that was what it would take for her to be truly included and be able to just converse with the others. Even Puff Daddy seemed more open to her once she was drunk.

I can understand her frustration with being in that situation. I just would have liked to see her earn 'respect' in a different manner than having to get drunk. :(

i thought it was sweet how fredrick tried to be nice to sarah...i like fredrick...most of the time he tries to keep the peace.

I see your point, Conskeeted7, but I didn't take it quite the same way. I don't think that it had as much to do with her being drunk is what made people feel her. I think that after she got a few in her, she was loose. With Sara being so mature and willing to learn, she seemed so wound up. I guess that also had to do with her feeling down and left out. Everytime they would show Sara she was balled in a corner with headphones on, shades, and all and she just kept to herself. When she got "loose," she was sitting in the same room with everybody joking and stuff. She just let the real Sara come out.

I mean, she started to win them over before that. Earlier that day, she busted Chopper down. Then, she clicked out on her husband on the phone. The real Sara was coming out. She loosened up more so when Mary Brown came in. She finally found a person that understood. I think this episode showed us all about Sara and how she is evolving. She doesn't have to be the "mother" in the house. Like she said, Sara has never disrespected anybody. But in the process of being the peaceful one, she was getting walked over and ignored. On this episode, both sober and "loose," Sara put her foot down and opened up. She didn't just blend into the background anymore.

On a side note: I wish that I was in NY and knew Sara at the time that she was going through her things. When she walking around that house when everyone had gone out, I felt SOOOO bad for her. I was sitting in here talking to the TV saying, "Sara, I'll be your friend!" Sara is a cool girl and she can really sing. She can only get better. I think that everyone sees that she doesn't have it "easy" like they think.

Yeah, that was a sweet moment. Fred gets cool points for that. :)

Now, if only he can manage to stop sucking his thumb......:p

Sara - I'll be your friend too!!!

Yes, FRED REALLY needs to stop sucking his thumb! It irritates me everytime I see him do that. He also needs some chap stick because his lips are always charred.

Sucking your thumb does that to you. It also makes your teeth stick out. How you gonna get on TV and brag about being a lightweight thug, who has been stabbed, shot, beaten, etc., but you are on NATIONAL TELEVISION sucking your thumb?!

I kinda agree that Sara was being ignored because she was in the background. But I still think that it was more because she just couldn't relate to the others quite as much. She wasn't into hip hop as much as the others and she wasn't on the same 'street' level. She was fed up and started going off, but she didn't have to get drunk to do that. It came naturally from being frustrated. I was still disappointed to see 'the liquor talking' instead of her just voicing her opinions as she did earlier.

I think she's going to allow herself to enjoy this experience more now that she has 'loosened' up, which will be good for her and the group.

I was disappointed as well

I didn't like the whole Sara getting drunk and fitting into the fold portion of the episode. http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung...smiley-019.gif I'm sure others were amused and Puffy seemed to be right there with her until she said that she wanted to know the vision (didn't she learn from Mysterious asking the same question last season?). I wish that it didn't take her getting drunk http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung...smiley-012.gif to get to the point where she really said what was on her mind. I know that she is wound up as tight as a spring, but liquor isn't the answer -- and I also hate that she had to fight with her husband. I wish things would have come off a little bit better on the television especially since she should be more aware than anyone of the presence of the cameras -- what do you think her husband thought when she was hanging all over Chopper?? Thank goodness the powers that be didn't edit out her saying that she thinks of him as a brother.
