That's great. That means even with drop outs they are at almost 90% which is excellent. It may be a gruesome process but these numbers are remarkable. Without being on the ground, I would read this as girls are really learning to be happy with what they have instead of being too good for the chapters they get. Congratulations to all and I hope there are a bunch of very happy girls very soon.

those numbers are from before girls dropped out today & cuts were the worst today.

Kat said that is the number "attending" today so I assume that is the number who accepted invitations. If that is the case, those girls will be on a bid list somewhere and if they have "maximized their options", they should receive a bid. At any rate, they are amazing numbers. RTR

According to ICS site, 299 women have withdrawn from recruitment thus far. May increase a bit when bids are distributed and possibly declined later this morning. This is an outstanding retention figure thus far. I look forward to watching the PNMS being led out of the stadium tomorrow morning and running to their new houses.
The new DG house is simply stunning...and it has PARKING!!!!!

Bid Day Reveal at 10 a.m. for Univ. of Alabama

This morning Bid Day reveal was scheduled for ten o'clock. Does anyone have numbers or late information?

A family friend's daughter (moved to Alabama when she was 5) just went through and she said that DG's recruitment seemed like they'd been doing it for years! I'm sure that was the product of a monumental effort put in on many levels, so congratulations to DG :)

Do you thinks some girls are just drawn to that crazy beautiful house that "old row" flies out the window?

Albama New Chapter Houses

Three other new chapter houses are under construction. The drawings I saw indicated they are all going to be huge. The university has set certain guidelines for size and general appearance.
