i just bought:

Straight Talking by Jane Green
Why Girls are Weird by Pamela Ribon

I'm looking forward to reading both. I've loved all the other Jane Green books (as mentioned many times in this thread) and I've heard Why Girls are Weird is very funny.

finished and loved both of these books!

am now on:
His Insignificant Other

also have sitting on my table waiting for me to read:
A Friend of the Family

I just bought The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom (Tuesdays with Morrie) and I loved it. It really makes you think about your life.

I borrowed a copy of The List of 7 by Mark Frost. It's one of those books that you just HAVE to read on a cold, rainy night! Harry Potter books so rock the casbah, as do Patricia Cornwell novels and Angels & Demons by Dan Brown.

On this recommendation, I checked this book out from the library and LOVED it. So cute, and humorous, too!

I love this thread, it's great.

If anyone is interested in mystery, Diane Mott Davidson has a series about a caterer who always stumbles upon murders. There are even recipes in the book, which I've never tried, because they are kinda complex. If you decide to read these start at the beginning. It's not essential, but helpful!

i think i read a lot...

so i'm now reading As Seen on TV by Sarah Mlynowski. She also wrote Milkrun and Fishbowl which were both great!

This one is about a girl who moves to New York to live with her boyfriend and when looking for a job gets cast in a reality show about four single girls and their Saturday nights at the bars. i think it's really good so far!

I just finished, The Davinci Code and I loved it! It's a pretty controversial novel, and far different from what I believe, but I can still appreciate a great book. I couldn't put it down!

I love this thread! I'm a reading addict. Right now I'm really liking Madeline L'Engle's books ... you know, the author who wrote the childrens' book "A Wrinkle in Time" and sequels. She's written quite a few books for adults, too, and they're very interesting and thought-provoking. Right now I'm reading her book "A Circle of Quiet", and it's really good!

Yay! I just found out that our library has a Florence King reader - now I can go read some of her stuff without having to buy a book because I am Le Cheap.

I would totally suggest the Girls Guide to Hunting and Fishing. I read it in like a day...it was so good and you can get so involved in the characters.

Okay, yesterday I went to barnesandnoble.com and was checking out the books on Jane Green- they totally seem like books I would enjoy. I LOVED the two Bridget Jones' Diary ones- and I think these will be about the same? I think I might ask for some for Christmas- however I am sure my mom will ask me about them once she sees the covers :D

Mr. Maybe was the cutest book ever!!! Gotta love Jane Green!
