I tried to vote for Chris on Tuesday and couldn't get through at all, on either number. I am bummed that he's off - I really thought he was going to win!

If Katharine wins, AI is dead to me.

I hope Chris takes Fuel's offer. I am done watching AI this season.

Chris would be smart to take that offer. He'd have the chance to join an already well-known band, and make it better, IMHO. I think he'd be awesome as Fuel's frontman.

See, I much prefer Katharine and Elliot for the finals, with Katharine being my top choice. I SO loved Somewhere Over the Rainbow tonight too!! AMAZING!!

I think Taylor is a shoe-in for the finals, but I honestly don't know who else will be there, but I am rooting for Elliott :)

When Taylor started his second song, I was chanting "Please don't dance, please don't dance". He sounds great, I just can't stand to watch him.

I'm rooting for Elliot and Katharine.

Chris belongs to 19E until after they do their Idols tour, so Fuel is going to have to wait. He confirmed that he has received an offer, but that he needed to think about what is best for his family and make a decision with a clear head. He seems like a great guy.

Okay, since I've been wondering for ages now- what in the world is 19E?

Also, I've been trying to call tonight (maybe the 1st time since season 1) and I've not been able to get through once. And my roommates who are calling for other idols can't get through either. And we've tried all the numbers. Craziness! Esp since it went off over 2hrs ago now.

I feel mean saying this but I hope it is Elliot who goes home. I am a huge Taylor and Katharine fan and would love to see the two of them in the finals (though I will cry b/c Chris is gone).

I didn't watch last night... but I guess I want Katherine to win. I could stomach seeing and hearing her more than the other two.

I had a really hot dream about Chris last weekend... which is totally odd, because he's really not my type at all.

Katherine's "Over the Rainbow" was great. I really hope she takes the judges' advice and stops the over-singing. I hate it when she does that.

I missed it last night too, but I was hearing about Taylor dancing with Paula Abdul & then just walking away from her. I would have loved that!

And did 19E lay down the dough this season? How the HELL did they get a Bruce Springsteen song on the show? I could have sworn Springsteen said he would NEVER let AI use his material. Of course I thought I heard the same for Prince... and look what happened!

Katharine's only good song last night was Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Everything else she totally oversang.

I really don't care who wins. I'd never listen to any of them.

I heard on the radio this morning that they called him up and asked if they could use that song specifically. Bruce asked who was going to sing it and gave the ok. However, the DJ also said that Bruce isn't crazy about that song and it's on his list of songs he is ashamed of doing!

I was thinking the same thing, but instead of using the world "in pain," to one of my co-workers, I used the word "constipated." It seems like on every slow song he looks like that. I don't think he is very comfortable singing slower songs in front of people and it shows.

It was sad to see Elliott to go but it was not a big surprise. Although, I really liked his homecoming video, I think he appreciated the fact that he was American Idol the most.

Katharine or Taylor? Well I have said it all along and I'm rooting for Katharine, she's the hometown gal for me :) That and I do not see the appeal for Taylor, I thought he was good for a while but then last night when he was dancing, it looked more like he was convulsing and going into shock all at the same time. Although Soul patrol, that's pretty catchy.

We shall see next Tuesday and Wednesday!

This makes me sad. I love Bruce and Dancing in the Dark and I don't think the Boss should be ashamed of any of the music he has created. I think Simon was right by saying Taylors version paled in comparision to the original, but I think that is was a good job singing it. He stayed true to the original and I liked that. I would have revoked my Soul Patrol membership if he had butchered a Springsteen song.

Not a huge fan of either... I dig Taylor's enthusiasm and Mr. JenMarie just likes Kat... well because he's a guy and she's good looking.

I missed most of the show, but I have to say that song Katharine just sang (the last one) was AWFUL. I absolutely hated it, and she didn't sound great singing it. But maybe that's not her fault... I mean, you can't do much with such a lame song.

Who the heck wrote that song for Kat?????????? What a horrible song to have to sing. So many transitions in it, slow then fast, high then low, sometimes in the same line of the dang song. UGH. That's why I made sure I voted.. 25 times! Totally unfair to give her such a poorly written song.

I think I liked it better last year when Bo and Carrie had to sing the same exact song.

I wasn't crazy about Taylor's song either. He was a little more mellow tonight, so I won't feel as badly if he wins.

Did I hear correctly on Entertainment Tonight that the girl song was written by Tamyra from AI Season 1 and the boy song was written by Nich Lachey?

All the AI singles have been super cheesy and lame, but these two take the cake! Neither of them even looked very happy about what they were singing, and who can blame them?!?! At least Randy pointed out that Kat's song sucked.
