Here is his tour schedule. I'd like to see him as well.

I'm excited too.

I am REALLY feeling my sweetie's snippet. Dammit, they are making me want to go to Philly during the T-giving break. Let some things happen...LOL!

"sweetie?" don't let this post accidently get back to somebody's bruh in Louisiana. ...I'm just sayin':)

AKA2D '91 08-22-2008 08:52 AM

LMAO. He knows Maxwell as my 'baby daddy' ANYWAY! LOL :p Everything's out in the open, as the song says! :p :p

Lalah's CD is excellent! It's been on repeat in my car all week.

Ray J's voice is interchangeable with pretty much any teeny bopper R&B dude to me. I'd rather his hits be given to better singers.

And YAYYYYY on 1997. Worst song of 97 as voted by my senior class: 68. My Baby Daddy - B-Rock & The Bizz

jitterbug13 08-24-2008 06:36 PM

Aw, 1997. Graduated from HS/first year of college. :D Music was good then, even though we lost Biggie that year.

And I just read that Ray J is getting a show on VH1 like Flavor/Rock of Love.

and yes, lets pour one out for 1997.

DSTCHAOS 08-24-2008 06:52 PM

The last few days, I've been listening to a lot of The Bangels. :)

Case in point: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sxf6X...eature=related

Ewwwww, WHY???:rolleyes::mad:

jitterbug13 08-25-2008 05:09 PM

I really don't know. I'm hoping it's classier than FOL/ROL, but I don't think that's going to happen.

And I love The Bangles. :D

soulfulremix 08-28-2008 08:37 PM

I picked up the new Solange and Anthony David.... and Marvin Sapp's latest for my mommy! =)

txdiva 08-28-2008 10:44 PM

Solange's CD is ok, not great, but a nice listen. I applaud her for daring to be different from her sister.

I doubt I'd pick it up, but I do like the first single.

Waiting for Eric Benet. I've never purchased any of his music; he's had great tunes over the years. If it's less than $10 I may pick it up. :D

I like John Legend and Andre's new single!

I liked his last CD "Hurricane", and I never bought any of his music before. I might pick up the new one tomorrow.

MeezDiscreet 09-09-2008 03:06 PM

I don't really care for Solange's cd

AKA2D '91 09-10-2008 01:17 PM

I like SKs first song from this CD. :o :o :o I doubt I'd purchase ANYTHING from her. I haven't purchased her sister's material, so why should I purchase Solange?

BTW, her (SK) vocals were lacking last night on the Fashion special, IMO.

txdiva 09-10-2008 04:36 PM

Eric Benet's and Kenny Lattimore's new CDs are very nice!

I can't wait to pick up Ne-Yo's next week!!! :)

nikki1920 09-15-2008 11:33 AM

I am excited to get Shaffer's new cd as well. :)

jitterbug13 09-16-2008 12:40 PM

Ne-Yo's CD (so far, since I listen to my CDs in the car) is DA BOMB. :D

nikki1920 09-16-2008 02:30 PM

Agreed. The man has talent with a pen. The beats are nice too. Loving the live instruments.

jitterbug13 09-16-2008 04:09 PM

I finished listening to the album. My statement stands.

I also bought Raphael Saadiq's new album. I'll tell ya'll how that is tomorrow. I also bought Estelle and Jill's last album (I know I'm late. Sister was broke last year.).

RedefinedDiva 09-16-2008 05:18 PM

I love a few songs off of Estelle's CD. I even bought her previous CD. It was more hip-hop than RB-ish. Apparently Estelle used to be some sort of rapper  I wasn't feeling it much. I do like a few songs on "Shine." I absolutely love American Boy!

I look forward to getting back in a position to get back on top of my music game. I have yet to buy Nas's new CD and that is SOOO not like me. I'm one of Nas's biggest fans and always purchase on release day. Not so this time around. :( I plan to purchase Solange and Ne-Yo as well.

nikki1920 09-17-2008 04:25 PM

I want Ne-Yo for a birthday present. :)
My favorites: Closer, Fade Into The Background, Single, Part of the List, So You Can Cry and Lie To Me.

jitterbug13 09-17-2008 05:04 PM

Raphael's CD is pretty good. It has that Motown/60's soul music feel to it.

soulfulremix 09-18-2008 09:01 AM

I need Jazmine's debut like NOW! LOL, listening to some of her live stuff on Youtube. Check out this gem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3IIF9IAQSnU

Velocity, Jazmine had me about to CRY!!! Whew... I can't wait. While we can agree on Jazmine, I am not an Emily King fan. I'm definitely just being a hater, but my first impression of her left me . She opened for Vivian Green before she "blew up???" and she sucked.

knight_shadow 09-18-2008 11:31 PM

Whatever happened to Remy Shand?

nikki1920 09-19-2008 05:04 PM

He turned into Robin Thicke. :p

I was wondering that too, I liked the one song he had and wanted to hear more, but he just fell off. :(

For real??? I can't even remember what the song was that I heard. I will have to look her up on youtube as well to see if there are some more songs I can listen too. She must can't sing live???

LOL. I have his "The Way I Feel" album and it's great. He was supposed to have some new material coming out a few years ago, but he just up and disappeared

Also, what happened to Vivian? She's an amazing artist.

soulfulremix 09-22-2008 10:48 PM

Knight Shadow, I don't know what happened to Vivian Green but I totally agree... she's a wonderful artist. I've been bumping her first album for past couple days. Hopefully, she'll be back soon.

I hope she comes back soon. I have her first album, which is great. I never got around to getting the second one (the one with "Gotta Go, Gotta Leave), but heard some good songs from it.

Meanwhile, Soulja Boi and Company spit out albums on a daily basis :(
