I have been a lurker for quite some time and I feel that it was time that I properly introduced myself. Looking forward to conversing with many of you. :D

Just wanted to stop by and formally introduce myself since I just joined.

I'm a senior in high school, just got accepted to Howard University (YAY!) and I'm looking forward to the college experience in general. I can't wait to complain about the food, the showers, the lack of A/C's, etc. lol I plan on majoring in Biology so that I can pursue a career in obstetrics. God-willing I'll have these scholarships in order so I won't have to pay out of pocket for my education and what not. You all have a blessed afternoon!

Take a look at some threads and kinda get a feel for everything, if you don't see a thread on a particular topic, use the search feature and you may find what you're looking for...congrats on being accepted to HU, thats great!!!....stay focused on your studies and enjoy yourself there....:)

Thanks CHAOS, Lord knows college will be a challenge for me but I'm always up for a challenge.

I'll try to keep an open mind about the board in general. I already see some folks are extra sensitive or just extra ignorant.

Ex: I'm a "future XYZ" and I'd like to ruin any chance I have at being in XYZ, so tell me about your org's history, practices, and any other private information I am not at liberty to be discussing :D I know I'm young but I'm smart enough to know what a search engine is and also keen enough to read the stickies at the top of each Forum.

You learn fast grasshopper...smile! Remeber college will teach a lot about yourself good and bad. Enjoy it to the fullest make some great memories and then come out and IMPACT the world!;)
