Last update for Indiana State University Fall 2012:
Sigma Kappa = 20
DG = 17
GPhiB = 16
AXO = 17

Looks like everybody made quota for the first time in years? The construction of the eight new houses has started. By Fall 2014 all the sororities will have houses!

Tri Delta took quota which I heard was 53.

WCSweet,

Is there a way of checking the Tri Delta number? On the Butler Alumnae page an alumna posted she was excited as her daughter had pledged Tri Delta and was in a class of 55.

Their Bid Day pictures are supposed to be posted soon.

Talking to a friend from home...it's bid day today at Emory U in Georgia and apparently quota this year is 63. It was somewhere in the low 40s/high 30s last year I believe, at least from hearing about my friend's pledge class. That's an incredible jump!

happilyanchored 01-27-2013 01:50 PM

Another update: I'll wait for the numbers to be official but just hearing from my friend, it looks like the numbers are off the charts for pledge classes. Her entire sorority is almost doubling in size with the new girls!

I ha trouble finding their number as it wasn't stated anywhere other than "we made quota!" The quota was found on another page. It is entirely possible for it to be 55 and for Tri Delta to have quota plus. I think we should go with 55

Does anyone have numbers on Phi Mu and A Chi O at Arkansas for informal? I saw a picture for A Chi O and it looked like around 100, but WAY too many girls to count heads, and I don't know if that was new pledges or the whole colony.

Quota additions. I think Kappa was quite a bit under total.

We had a long report from Emory...

Tri Delta has a new member class of 62. Of that number 43 are freshmen and 19 upperclassmen.

The new pearls are from five countries and 13 different states. Three were legacies.

:)

Ok because a pledge class of 53 at Denison is shocking...

http://daily.swarthmore.edu/2013/01/...s-on-saturday/

Article about Kappa Alpha Theta's colonization at Swarthmore. This Saturday is Bid Day.

Warning: The article, which is "news" and not "editorial", contains a couple of comments that could be construed as sarcastic. Especially the paragraph with two words that are bolded. Somebody's journalism instructor needs to go over the difference between "news" and "commentary" again.

That article is so poorly written - makes it sound like Theta's only requirement is that you are listed as a female, and other than that the PNMs do all the choosing.

Update!

As of January 30, 2013, Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan is officially open for NPC expansion and is accepting presentations from all sororities.

Is Delta Phi Epsilon the only NPC sorority present?
