One of my coworker's son is a happy ATO pledge! ATO was his first chioce all along! He is a great young man too!

When do they do the first round of cuts due to grades?? Sounds like alot of girls were cut BEFORE they even attended the first skit round at Ole Miss. Is this true?

It depends on the sorority, since that is part of membership selection which is private. Some might release more after philanthropy and some might release more after skit.

So it could potentially be a "grade cut" prior to skit round? Are they doing any snap bids this year??

We don't know for sure since all membership selection is private and secret. No one can tell you for sure.

"Snap bids are only given out on Bid Day by any groups who have not pledged to quota.

After Bid Day, if a group has slots open, it is called COB or COR, continuous open bidding or recruitment. You would need to ask your Greek Life office if any groups are participating in COB/COR and what you need to do to let them know you are available and interested."

Any groups not at total can COB but there is no organized recruitment. You would need talk with the Greek Life office for detailed information on who might be eligible and to put your name on a list of those interested in COB.

It has to be on the web first. One way to do that is post it on Facebook, and if you don't want to share it there, make YOU the only person who can see it.

On the DG sign where is says "Bid Day 2011" the 2 almost looks like a lower case a- and the first time I read it I read it as "Bid Day aOII". which made no sense.

I went back to look. You're right! They messed up making the 2 on 2011. How funny. Nice to see you on GC, FR. You must be busy. :(

OMG, thanks so much for sharing those photos. The Tri Delta Dead shirts (Grateful Dead, for those who may misread what I just wrote) are adorable! Loved the VW bus with dolphins.

Wow, just wow. I need to pay a visit to pick brains on how to manage new member classes of that size, as it seems Arizona is headed in that direction...
