my signature fragrance is Miss Dior, by Christian Dior. to me, the overhyped perfume at the time that made me go "eh", was Bvlgari Blue. on my man I like scents like Kouros and Guess for men.
has anyone ever fell in love with a mens cologne and bought it for themselves? years ago, I loved and purchased for myself Pi, by Givenchy.

I wear Georgio Armani Sensi almost exclusively... but every now and then I mix in Breathe from the new BB&W line (can't remember exactly what it's called at the moment, but its packaging is red).

I used to wear Obsession because it smelled like my grandmother, and I keep a bottle of Cashmere Mist for those days that I'm feeling sad or homesick, since it's my mother's perfume. It's amazing how strongly we can identify with certain perfumes!

I was at the outlets on Black Friday and EVERYTHING at Banana Republic was 40% off - including the perfume! I got myself a huge bottle and a small one for boyfriend.

I got a sample of the Vera Wang Princess and it smells really nice. However, I noticed as it wore off it started to smell funky, like some sort of werid metalliac scent. Anyone else notice this?

Let me know how the staying power is on these - I saw them the last time I was in BR and was SUPER tempted.

I've worn their classic before and it has lasted for most of the day. I don't have mine with me now because I couldn't carry it on since it was over 3 oz. and couldn't go in my magical 3-1-1 sandwich bag.

I just bought Cashmere Mist for my sister for Christmas, it smells really good. I recently picked up Armani Code for myself. :)

I fell in love with Burberry London when I had a sample of it. So I asked for it for Christmas and I don't like the big bottle. Has anyone else experienced this?

I know you sometimes can't trust small samples but this smells COMPLETELY different. At first I thought they got the men's version by mistake but nowhere on the box did it say "for men." My mom said she doesn't mind it so she would take it and buy me a replacement but I want the good smelling sample not another bottle that may smell just like this one. It has a very pungent top note. I don't know any other way to describe it. I've given it time to grow on me on several different occasions and that first whiff just never goes away.

I'm so sad!! :(

Well I am following up on my own post but I think I solved the mystery. The bottle and packaging that I have match the regular Burberry for Women bottle shown on their Web site. EXCEPT my bottle clearly says Burberry with London underneath it so I can't blame my brother for getting the wrong one. What stupid salesperson didn't realize what he meant when he asked for Burberry London??? It's their newest fragrance. Sheesh!

Hey, have you tried the CoCo Chanel?? It is totally designed NOT to smell like Grandma's Chanel No.5. It is focused for the modern career/college girl who wants to be sophisticated like her Mom and Grandma.

But for all who love classics, Shalimar has been reconfigured and is better than ever. Gave my daughters the Britany cologne and they love it!!

I used to wear Coco but I got tired of it.

This thread reminds me to get some Pink Sugar. OMG.

I just read in Allure that they're bringing this back. They also talked about 3 new Chanel scents that sound phenomenal, and I'm really hoping they will smell as good as the descriptions.

I LOVE Coco. I even spray it on my pillows when they come out of the dryer.

I really need to get a bottle of the Coco Mademoiselle, too. It's so sweet-smelling...I love it, too.
