Sabrina didn't stand out to me as much as the other big voices in the competition. However, I still would have sent Haley home before Sabrina.

And don't EVEN get me started on Sanjaya!!! Grrrr my friends and I were all yelling at the TV when Ryan said that Sanjaya made it.:mad:

Do you guys watch American Idol Rewind? I didn't bother at first because I thought it was just outtakes of the really horrible contestants from seasons past.

I managed to catch it last Saturday and found that they're re-airing the performance episodes from Season 1. It's so weird to see how different AI is now. The semi-final round is 200% more glamorous than when Kelly and Justin and the rest of the Season 1 contestants performed.

Melinda looks very strange to me. She looks like a 40-something year old woman. I can't believe that she is only in her late twenties - she does NOT look like it. I don't know - there is just something bizarre about her appearance. And I really feel like there is Fanfasia Jr on the stage when Stephanie sings. All she needs is to say she goes to church to "get her sang on" and throw in some "yeah yeah yeah yeah's" -- she reminds me of Fanfasia so much.

(OTW - remember raising hell over Fanfasia - ah, the good 'ol days :D )

Oh, and I know by saying this she will either win or be in the top 3 - but I cannot STAND Gina - ugh ugh ugh - I like absolutely nothing about her.

Yes...Fanfasia. Still don't like her and just about barfed when Lifetime decided to do an autobiopic about her life.

And Melinda..I like.

You're not. I think Fantasia sucks and is absolutely horrible. This makes me racist according to GCers. I do think that Stephanie, Lakisha and Melinda are amazing and I'd be happy to see any of the three win the competition. But I guess I'm still racist because I think Fantasia can't sing.

I love Gina, but mostly because I love Rock and I'm ready for a rocker to win.

I'm still in the middle of watching over here, but I think the Diana Ross theme was an unfortunate choice for the guys. They must really REALLY want a girl to will this year.

I like Gina, just didn't like the song. But I'm a Melinda fan, big teeth/no neck and all.

Oh my goodness .....as much as he has a beautiful voice Chris H. ,the big curly headed guy, butchehered one of my old time favorite songs "Endless Love". I was crying out for Lionel and Diana to come out on stage to resurrect it and to save it from the torture i heard last night! You just dont re arrange a song that has so much history. I love Diana Ross, big Diana Ross fan, and the guys i am sorry ruined the majority of those songs. I am with ZTAANGEL , i cannot stand fantazia either, something about her i cannot stand....nails on the chalkboard annoying cannot stand. But Melinda Doolittle she is awesome! She is like Tyler from last season just looks older then what she is.

Who did their hair this week? Chris S's hair looked weird and Sanjaya....poor Sanjaya.

Yeah, bad hair night with the curls...And Chris needs to wear his glasses - his tiny eyes get lost on his big face.
