Hey everyone! I'm currently rushing at Rutgers in NJ, and I'm having an absolutely amazing time!! Tonight was the second night of rush.. it's so exciting! I have a feel for a few sororities that I really like, so hopefully the last night of open house will help me get a better feel for the sisters and what the sorority has to offer. All the tips everyone has posted have been SO helpful.. I don't know that I'd be able to make it through rush without them!!I'm so nervous for pref night, but I've been anticipating it for weeks.. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, and I'll keep you posted!! :o

Thanks for the good luck wish! Today was pref, and it seems like keeping my fingers crossed worked out for me! I got preffed by my #1! After last night, the last night of open house, I just knew where I belonged. It truly felt like home. Everyone always says that when you find where you belong, it just clicks for you, and you know that's where you're supposed to be. That's exactly how I felt last night when I left the rush party!! All of the girls were amazing, the conversation was excellent, and I felt like I had known some of these girls for years when I had just met them an hour before! Tommorow is Bid Day, and I have to admit that I am a little nervous, but hopefully everything will work out!! Keep your fingers crossed for me!!

Ohh good luck from me too!! I really hope you get your number 1 choice:) But let us know as soon as you can because I met some people like me are just dying to know!!!!!!

So today is Bid Day! Bids were to be delivered between 11-12pm. At 12 I was pretty upset because I had not received a phone call. (I live at home.) About 5 minutes later a car pulls up to my house.. It was a sister from Gamma Phi Beta.. my number one choice!! I was so shocked that she came to my house instead of just calling me.. how sweet! Needless to say I accepted the bid immediately, and I'm very much looking forward to my new member process, and becoming part of the sisterhood!!

We got all her recs together for formal rush last December, but she was having a killer semester academically, so decided to wait until this year and try it more informally.
