How ridiculous that I post compiled facts into my own report and then someone tries to downplay them by creating some notion that I found them from some non-credible source. I don't know how the US Justice Department fits into that category.

The poster asked if you got that directly from their publication or from the various commentaries of their publications.

When you look at the USDOJ websites and publications, it is difficult to find that exact publication. However, when you Google what you posted, it comes right up in the various articles written on the topic.

ETA: These articles indicate that the info comes from the USDOJ but do not provide a complete citation for the publication.

You could've easily solved this issue by providing a weblink to the publication.

Step 2: Search for "Statistics"
Step 3: Use mouse to click on weblink that will show you full statistical breakdowns.
Step 4: Read

I didn't go anywhere else to any other outside sources besides those within this website. Figured that would eliminate some bias.

It's pretty easy to see the point. He said that in proportion to the racial makeup of the country, there is a higher proportion of African-Americans in jail.

Crime data is a big part of my career and I have gone through many DOJ publications over the years. I still have a hard time finding the SPECIFIC stats you are referencing.

I'm not saying what you typed was completely fabricated or inaccurate, but just admit that you don't remember the link and can't find it again. If you ever found it in the first place. :)

That certainly is NOT what that statistic that he quoted is saying.

I had the same problem.

When I Googled those exact words, they were only found on the websites of organizations like the "Brotherhood of White Christian Males." The information seems to have been found on the DOJ site, but the way the information was manipulated is problematic.

No DNA evidence does not account for why the girls valuable were left askew all over the bathroom and why ALL OF HER NAILS were broken off her fingers. She was fighting SOMEONE.
