Uh yes, but as it is just a rumor right now the possibilities are much more flexible than that. That wasn't even what the original rumor said.

And if they sign on for thirteen now, and decide to stick out a season, they'll do 22. It's all either up in the air right now, or not being shared with the public, so it's academic.

Considering that they are reluctant to sign on for even 13, I doubt they'll do 22.

 or they haven't even signed for 13. It's just a rumor. There may be no season next year.

I'm not sure why you feel the need to correct me when I only suggested a possibility in the first place. I'm not stupid, I know how TV shows work.

Am I the only Gilmore Girls fan who wants the show to die?

EXACTLY... I don't believe it's the ratings they're worried about. It's LG and AB and the others WANTING to continue, and how much they will get paid to do so that is the issue at hand.

Right, that's what I was trying to point out. I guess I wasn't doing that great of a job with that.. but I blame being sick.

Anyways, it doesn't matter since AB and LG have decided not to sign and this will be the last season.

As much as I probably would have watched a next season (albeit a limited one), I really think it's a good idea that they're ending it on a high (?) note. No sense dragging it out anymore if the episodes were gonna be half ass like the ones of this season.

RIP, Gilmore Girls. You shall be missed.

The show is cancelled. :(

Thank goodness. I loved the show, and it finally seems to be getting back on track, but honestly, where else could it go from here? Especially with the possibility of Rory leaving...

I read the possible spoilers about the series finale and I'm a bit worried.

Execs promised a proper sendoff...but I don't know now. It doesn't seem all that great to me.

I will be upset if the ending sucks. I wasn't given proper time to let the "last season" sink in, I would've liked to know from the beginning of this season that this was the last one... oh well what can ya do ?

I know the fire is serious, but I was so upset.

The official OTW GG recap will be posted tomorrow morning to give people a chance to watch it on their DVR/TiVo if they haven't done so already.

I'm sad...only one more episode left and no more GG. No more GG recaps forever. :(

I thought that A S-P wrote Rory's graduation episode before she left, but I guess I was wrong because the Series Finale's next week, and that's probably the one she did.
