OK--we are closing on a house tomorrow. I couldn' t be more excited! I'm so ready to be out of the cracker-box rental...we'll be painting all weekend (in between the kids' sporting events...I'm secretly praying for rain on Friday night so the outside stuff will be rained out & I can concentrate on it...). We move end of month...it's gonna be crazy until then!

Congrats on the new house! I can't wait to get out of the cinder-block dorm rooms....

I didn't get the RA job I wanted :( , but I'm trying to look at in a positive light. I'll get to stay at Cedar Point for a few more weeks! (And make some more money!)

I'm also knee-deep in the application for the editorship of my school's newspaper. It's basically a name-and-address application, but so far I have 3 pages of my relevant experience, what direction I want to take the paper, etc, in a Word doc currently entitled "Bill, I want this JOB!" I was told I didn't need a resume or anything, but the interview committee is getting this 'lil nugget.

yup..at 12:15 PM on April 15...I just finished my taxes. Thank goodness for teacher workdays and e-file.

Ok...the ex has a ad on a singles site...I found some weird emails on his computer a while back and started thinking...hummm. I plugged his zip into a few popups that came across my screen and BAM, there he was, picture and everything!

There's space student organizations can get in one of the residence halls on my campus. DZ already has an office, but we needed an extra space to meet, so I went and got another space. I was told it was completly empty, that there was nothing in there. I go check it out tonight, and found the following:

*Roughly about 14 cots, the kind you had back in pre-school
*About 10 boxes full of a book called "Self-Excellence"
*More boxes of who-knows-what
*A plastic Halloween pumpkin
*And attendance records from my school's daycare. I do not know how old they are.

I'm heading back to the Residence Life office so I can get this taken care of....however, I want to hang onto the cots. We could use some furniture

They did it again. The DZ's from my school won Greek Week. Last year they received the Presidents trophy for being the best sorority on campus & now they won Greek Week.
Congratulations to them! :)
