And we have to wait so long between seasons! The wait is agonizing. The only positive thing is True Blood starts its new season when Game of Thrones ends.

And then Boardwalk Empire on the heels of TB. I don't think I watch anything on HBO Sunday night between BWE and GoT.

The RW will be the next episode....not the season finally....and the PW will not happen until next season....

I will not go into how accurate the season (show) has been so far....but I will say that the D & D and HBO have done an ok job. They have just screwed up Jon Snow and I still don't see how they will correct it....

I'm pretty sure that Grandma Tyrell is my favorite character on television right now. She is fantastic!

RW? PW? How did they screw up Jon Snow?

ms_gwyn 06-03-2013 12:09 AM

and *that* my friends.....is the RW....otherwise known as the Red Wedding.....

you will have to wait until next season (I hope, thought they could do it this season) for the PW...

I also said that this was the make or break episode to see if I will continue to watch the show. They have kept at least 1 more viewer for the next season.

The wedding musicians should have sung "Hide yo kids, hide yo wife".

ms_gwyn 06-04-2013 01:19 PM

No....Rains of Castremere was perfect, it let Catelyn know that sh*t is about to hit the fan....

Nothing good ever happens when that song plays....NOTHING....also, they should've had the scene with Tywin actually writing the letters that sealed these deals, but perhaps they will take care of that in the next episode....

APhi4Ever 06-04-2013 01:37 PM

I agree, the Rains of Castamere was appropriate because it showed the Frey's had chosen a side, the Lannisters. They were always a pretty neutral family. I agree what they did was horrendous, anyone that has read the books knows what happens after that.

Oof, my small attempt at humor did not go through. That'll teach me to mix internet memes with Game of Thrones.

Sorry...I was not aware of that meme...otherwise, I would've probably got it....I am rather slow sometimes....

It was certainly a bad night to be a Stark. I'm interested what happens with Jon Snow next. Does he go back for his woman?

Just figured out what PW stands for! Can't wait. I will breathe a sigh of relief when PW happens ... (even if it's just a momentary sigh).

Have to admit....I particularly enjoyed seeing "King" Joffrey be sent off by his grandfather to take a nap.
