I have. The ladies dressed nice but no black.

Bumping this as one of my sorority sisters (from a different chapter) will be on tonight's new episode!

Omega Phi Alpha's VP of Membership will be searching for her dress at Kleinfeld's tonight! She's getting married in about a month and a half (a week after I get married)!

Awesome! I know the "former cheerleader" and her "boisterous entourage" from last week's (re-airing at 6:30 tonight - I didn't get to see it yet, so yay!)

An AOII alumna from Ole Miss was on a recent epsiode. I think this was her episode. Her name is Bethany.

^^ loved the episodes with the "former cheerleader" and Bethany!

This summer, TLC will be premiering Say Yes to the Dress: Bridesmaids. It looks like it'll be taking place at Bridals by Lori.

Anyone else watch the summer premieres? I did like seeing the bridesmaids dresses (a lot had straps :p), but didn't like the demanding brides and bridesmaids.

HannahXO 07-08-2011 11:13 PM

I couldn't believe how bratty some of those bridesmaids are! Seriously, it's not your wedding. You will have your chance. Don't be a diva.

ColdInCanada11 07-08-2011 11:45 PM

I could not believe that one bridesmaid who said that she wouldn't be in the wedding if she didn't like the dress.

KSUViolet06 07-09-2011 12:06 AM

^^^I was pretty blown away by her, and I've dealt with some bratty maids before.

More importantly, why would you even want to be FRIENDS with someone like that?

ColdInCanada11 07-09-2011 12:20 AM

^^^ Exactly!!! Wouldn't she just be lovely on the day of? I just don't understand how one person can be so awful and self-centred

HannahXO 07-09-2011 12:21 AM

If I were the bride I would be THRILLED if she decided to leave the wedding party

I still can't believe that one woman that made her mother cry because she couldn't afford the dress that her daughter wanted. I didn't understand why she would come back out in the gown after her mother told her she couldn't afford the dress. She seemed like she wanted her mom to hand her the extra 1k for the dress, instead of paying for it herself.

Both her and the sisters of the "virginal" bride (I think it was the same episode) who had no concern for the mothers' budgets disgusted me. Actually, most of the families/friends that accompany the brides I find to be horribly rude. It's not a show....well, I guess it IS a show, and maybe that's the problem. I just can't imagine saying some of the hurtful things that come out of those women's mouths. And for the last time: a white white white wedding dress does not symbolize purity, and an ivory gown is not intended to mean the bride is "tainted."
