My wife ordered a Kappa scarf during the sale, or at least thought she did. It wasn't until the confirmation email came that she realized that (1) she had ordered an ADPi scarf instead, and (2) there were no more Kappa scarfs.

Oh well. The scarf came and is now in the hands of an ADPi collegiate friend. (And I'm looking to see if I can find a Kappa scarf somewhere.)

:( The HCB of the chapter I advise ordered Pottery Barn monogrammed throws, and we were sent Kappa throws. PB did send the correct ones, but trying to explain the mistake to the customer service representative was quite an ordeal...she was very determined to get it right on the second go-round, but she had absolutely no knowledge of the Greek alphabet.

Personally, I'd wait until the January New Year Lilly sale. Otherwise, they carry everything upscale Kappa at the W&L bookstore, at full price, of course. ;)

I was talking to Hypo tonight on the phone and she said "I want to tell you something, but I don't want you to go vote!" And I was like "What are you talking about??" And she told me about the new Lily sorority print. I told her "No worries, I won't vote, I'm anti-Lily and think it is a scam that they are using sorority women to do their marketing for them." She said "You're right, they do, don't they?" She pauses.. then she says "But I really want them to make an AXO print!" I told her no worries, I would not vote. LOL

I'm a little irked that the two Pi Phi picture frames I bought on sale for my daughter for $9 each (they were $28) are now $8 in the new "regular" pricing! :mad:

They brought back the state pattern totes! The Florida tote hasn't been available for months, but I just bought one as a Christmas present to myself. Finally!

These are cute stickers for an agenda/planner/calendar! Thinking about getting them for my daughter. I guess this settles which GLO philanthropy is best known: only Derby Days has its own sticker.

I wish they had the Alpha Xi scarf in stock. I would've bought that now that it's heavily discounted (since as previously discussed it is very thin), but alas, only Sigma Kappa and AOII are lucky enough to have the scarf in stock. The rest of the sorority collection I don't have much use for.

I bought multiple articles of clothing during the sale as early birthday gifts for myself, but I was sad to see that they had no ADPi items in stock. The totes were super cheap too! Absolutely would have bought one for my little if they'd been in stock.

I know we've discussed this before on here, but I think the sorority collection didn't sell as well as they were expecting. I think it's because it was overpriced for subpar quality. But, I wish that they would just continue with it. Readjust the prices so they're more reasonable (as they've done) and finish out the NPC sororities. I think that's fair, and I want to see the prints!

It seems like they had a new strategy so that the site wouldn't crash. I have to admit that I'm a little sad that I didn't see adult women acting like spoiled children on Facebook because the site wasn't working ;)

It was still really intense! I had 3 things disappear from my cart while shopping. But least I received an alert when I clicked on my cart so it wasn't just gone without warning. I appreciated that!

Overall I'm happy. I hope I luck out with really quick shipping again like last year. I literally got all my stuff within a week!

Generallygreek bought ahead for her little during the January sale, which worked out great for her deferred recruitment. The totes are definitely a good buy...too bad the groups to choose from are so limited.

Things seem to be going fast. My daughter ordered a halter dress and a sweater, but the other sweater she wanted was down to only XL left by the time she checked out.

I check out as I go. Learned THAT lesson. And the techonology is very improved this go-around.

Hypo tried to order the AXO tote after debating about it all morning. It was sold out by the time she decided to purchase it. I told her it was a sign that she should be saving her money :)

Watching the melt down on Sephora's page over the Epic Rewards event (people are so entitled, it's sickening) and it reminded me that we're in for the next Lilly sale soon. Any guesses on when it will be? I looked back at 2014 on their Facebook--it was Aug 18 (a Monday) and they announced it Friday. Will be keeping my eyes open for details!

My guess is it will be announced late this week! I've started noticing the online inventory is starting to be pulled from the website which normally means the sale is soon. I learned last year that Lilly stores also honor sale prices, or they should (sometimes you need to remind them), so if something is gone online it could be at your local store

Definitely check with online stores and brick-and-mortar stores too! As exciting as it can be to bum-rush the main Lilly site and cause it to crash, which happens literally every year, it's much easier to just call around and find something you love rather than pray it doesn't sell out before you can get to it. My guess is next Monday as well but hopefully they will announce soon so I have time to prepare my wallet.

often, other Lilly retailers will also hold sales along with Lilly Pulitzer. normally the prices aren't quite as good as what you can find on the Lilly site and you will likely have to pay shipping but if you are really looking for something specific then it's worth it IMO.

Easiest sale yet, although I think I snuck in with a bit of a fluke.

I hit refresh at 6am on my laptop and was in line as person number 8,000ish. It said an hour wait, but that soon dropped down to about 30 min which ended up being accurate.

However, right after I hit refresh, I hopped on to the app on my phone and got on with no wait. I added 17 things to my cart (about 25 min worth of shopping) before I hit some type of glitch and it stopped letting me add things. So I narrowed down to 4 and checked out. By that time the laptop queued me up so I hopped on there, picked out about 9 more things I had been trying to originally add, narrowed down what I wanted and made my final purchase. An hour later, and I got what I needed! Very easy!

I may hope on at the end of the day tomorrow and if there are any of the dresses I wanted left in my size, I will consider it fate and snag it :)

I did the exact same thing as you lovespink-waited around on my laptop forever, randomly checked the app and got the only thing I was dying to have! I'm taking my mom to the Greenville-Spartanburg airport today so I'm going to hit the local stores in Greenville on the way back but I'm so happy to have checked the app:)

My daughter got 2 dresses and 2 sweaters...she lost out on a couple items that sold out by the time she checked out. She was hoping some leftover sorority items might be available, because she thinks her Pi Phi tote will make it through senior year, and that's it.

Of course, she could always replace it with a Michael Kors tote...there seem to be good deals available on those....

I spent too much haha. But the prices were definitely worth it! 2 dresses and 2 tops. I got on without a problem, though the site was glitchy overall. After I was in, the queue kept popping up and it was a bit of a pain to get my cart to show up. I had to add something I didn't want to hit checkout and then remove it.

Though, I still think they should've finished the sorority line and at least kept producing the scarves and bags.
